[Black & Cheetah Print]
Clean and mod, with a distinctive pointy-toe and last shape, leather soles with a rubber tread, The ribbon lace-up Notion features a combination of buttery Argentinian leathers with cheetah printed bovine leathers. The Notion is the perfect flat for afternoon rides on your beach cruiser. I'm not driven to rash behaviour, except when it comes to you. I'm afraid I'm inclined to throw it all away even for, however brief or long, walks in your presence.

Fabulous as always!
First the feet details- my normal fluevog size is an 11 with the occasional 10.5 or 11.5/12 thrown in to make things interesting; I would consider them to really be about a 10.5. My feet are a smidge wide and I have a bit of a high instep. I have the Presence Impulse in a size 11, and had it been available I probably would have done an 11.5 with those as they were a bit tight. (However, with lots of wear they broken in quite nicely, so I am now happy with the size.) Sole-to-sole, the Notions look to be about the same size as the Impulse. However, I just tried my new pair (size 11) with some thick tights and they seem initially to feel better than the Presence shoes did when I first got those. (This surprises me as I had tried on a size 11 Truth Selby back in the day. They look almost the same shape-wise to the Notions, but I was not able to even get one foot into the Selby due to my high arches.) I heartily approve of the addition of the rubber soles! I have not worn the Notions out and about yet, but I can tell these will be a new stand-by. I have an all-black version from amazon.com and I think I will be tempted by these cheetah ones if the price gets knocked down any further.

Fluevog has done it again
It's probably a good thing that there isn't a Fleuvog store near where I live because every time I walk into one, I fall in love. These Notions were not the shoe I had my eye on but they are the ones I've worn for the last three days straight. Like love, these shoes caught me by surprise. Before this week, I would not have thought of myself as a cheetah print kind-of-girl, and I can't remember the last time I wore a pointy toe ((Malibrans & Prepares are usually my 'Vogs of choice), but these got my attention, and stole my heart. They look great with both jeans and dressier pants (both black and brightly colored) as well as will tights and a dress. I've already gotten tons of compliments. They are comfortable (even on the foot w/ the bunion), and they have rubber soles so no slipping or sliding.
