Operettas: Flagstad

This cute 2.5" heeled lace-up shoe was inspired by Kirsten Målfrid Flagstad. Flagstad was a Norwegian opera singer who is still regarded as the finest Wagnerian soprano to grace the Metropolitan, and was called by many critics as The Voice of the Century. With soft Niagara perforated leathers, soft rubber soles, and a leather wrapped heel, this shoe could possibly be The Shoe of the Century?

Love the look, love the quality. My ankles are too low for the shoe - ouchy rubbing at the bottom of my ankle bone. I've put an insole to lift up my foot a bit (but now the toe is too snug). Still, I'm going to keep them on and let them stretch, I hope.

I've only used this website to buy my "pretties" but did some research and you can find these beauties on other websites that offer free shipping...and discounted prices. Nothing wrong with that! I love these shoes! They were marked 6.5 W, and I do have somewhat of a wide foot, but all my Fluevogs are 6.5. I feel they are generously sized, the heel is very comfortable, and the leather and craftsmanship is amazing. The brown is no longer available, but I got my pair! I've been wanting them for a while and when I saw them on, I knew I got a great deal. :-D

Elation
Holy beans. Straight out of the box and onto my feet, 14 hours later and still going strong. Probably the comfiest, grooviest winter work shoes I own. Loving the extra laces too.
I have the olive and the dark green in the pattern is more of a teal and works fabulously. These babies are going to be worn to death.

I've been lusting after these for some time and lucked into a pair in my size on eBay. They're comfortable, stable, and absolutely gorgeous! I get stopped on the street by strangers when I wear these, and even my local cobbler came out from behind the counter to admire them when I stopped in there for more shoe-protecting spray. I wear a 9.5 in most shoes that are roughly ankle-height and higher, and these are no exception. For comparison I also take a 9.5 in my mini sugars and lovers.

Happy Feet from Aus
I am a Cdn living in Perth, Aus so was totally over the moon when I knew I was having dinner nearby the Queen St store during my recent stay in Cda!! I even managed to buy a pair of these in brown (on sale no less) ,-) and wore them the next day with ease. They are so comfortable! This is my second pair of JFs and I can't wait for my next visit.
Perfect Shoe.
These are the most versatile shoes I have ever worn (this says something because I am known to wear tons of shoes). I own them in black, they fit true to size and they go with everything from a cute hip cocktail dress to jeans and a tee!

squeak
looking for some help....I have the Operetta Flagstad's and love them! they are so comfortable and I can wear them all day....however they have developed an annoying squeak across the top of the foot....any help in how to get rid of that??? please!! (:`(

Like... magic... !
Had been "stalking" these for the longest time online... and the green sadly started to disappear before I got up the funding for them...
Hubby and I just moved to New England, and so we walked into the Boston store just to say hi and browse (it's our favorite Fluevog store!). Miss Ali (<3 you!) magically pulled these beauties from the back as a recommendation, in my size, and totally unprompted by me - and the green wasn't even on display in the store! (HOW do you read my mind like that???)
Went up a half size in these from my regular size (6 to a 6.5) - they feel a little bit smaller and will accomodate a sock nicely. I always say, never wear shoes you can't run in - and these fit the bill for a marathon day just fine! The green and teal is a rockin color combo, and I have very happy feet! @>-

Just want to say I LOVE these shoes as much as, if not more than, my other Fluevogs! They are too adorable and soooo comfy! I ordered the burgundy on clearance. As always the size is consistent-in Fluevog I wear 11.5, in all others 11. These are my new autumn shoes! Keep on doing what you're doing! P-)
