Revamping his 240 Wagon series, after providing the stylish and sturdy style for 20 years, John decided an upgrade was necessary and set his mind to redesign an already time-proven shoe family. Reminiscent of the reliable Volvo John bought for his young family many years ago, John sought inspiration in the boxy and geometrically designed Volvo 760 with inter-cooled turbo.
Jan Wilsgaard, head of Volvo's Design and Styling team, proposed over 50 new designs for the new 760 Turbo, employing the long respected credo, "simple is beautiful." Using the same tough waxy leathers from the 240s, a square toed last for a wider foot, and 100% vulcanized rubber soles, the Wilsgaard is an all-purpose boot excellent on ice, snow, and slush. The 760 Turbo F-Sole even retains heat - if left in a warm dry area overnight will give you hours
of toasty toes in the winter (but don't get us wrong, they're wonderful in milder climates as well). These re-soleable, tough shoes will cover many miles for many years to come.

Made for walkin'.
Not what Nancy Sinatra might wear, I suppose, but she's got better legs than I do so she can wear the tall heels. I got these to wear in a Toronto winter and so far they're as comfortable as anything else I own - after 2 hours. They fit like a boot should - with a slight heel lift and no pinching. People with narrow feet may have width issues - they really do have a wide toe.
I walked a mile in these shoes after I bought them and now I'm not giving them back.
Plus my wife thinks they're hot. ,->
