This advertisement incorporates a font style that mimics newsprint, yet keeps the feel of it energetic and youthful. Clashing colours were chosen to reflect the trend of today's fashion - be adventurous with how you put things together. The little paperboy takes us back to the days when shouting out the names of newspapers on the street stands for sale was prevalent... this also suggests a reappearance of a traditional style of shoe with a modern, casual twist and a focus on comfort - taking the old and creating something fresh and new.
