Bowling shoe angels
Back in the late 90's I got my first pair of Fluevog angels and they looked like bowling shoes, were light as air and I wore them until they completely fell apart (this took a very, very long time). I used to go dancing a lot back then and pretty much danced them into oblivion. I would LOVE to have that pair of shoes again. Do you know the ones I mean? Probably '95, '96, '97ish. They were really cute and kind of Mod, you know?
I have lots of other Flus, all of which I love, but because those were my first, they remain my first Flu love.
Thanks for all the great shoes!

I love fluevog shoes, which is why when I am having a bad day/week/month, I go to the sale website and browse through in search for something that might cheer me up.
I found that something recently but on the US website - the getup boots in petrol blue and burgandy... they had my size and it was on sale! I was so excited that I let the good folks at the Vancouver fluevog store know that I am willing to pay the extra shipping and handling just to get my hands on a pair of these boots.
How very sad I was when I wasn't contacted for a week... and after some e-mails and a phone call to the store finally learned that the boots were never shipped to me. Not only did I end up being sad from a horrible couple of weeks/months but now extra sad that what I was waiting for will never get to me. (:`(
I think I will have to take a break from fluevog website for a bit now - don't want to get disappointed any time soon.

So sorry to hear about this. I know the Vancouver store has been in touch with you since, and hope this has all been resolved.
Thank you for all that you do. I have never enjoyed a line of products so thoroughly. You somehow combine art, style, comfort, and quality in all that you do and I appreciate every individual effort that goes into your brand and execution.

Discontinued Favorite Boots
Dear John.. PLEEZ, PLEEZ, PLEEEEEEEEZ can you bring back my favorite boots? I cant remember what they were called, or exactly the season I bought them.. but I called them my Urban Cowgirls. I bought them at the Haight St. store, 2003? maybe?
The closest I can get to describing them from your current designs would be to say: they had a Bond Girl type sole, but not so form fitting in the calf..more a biker boot, but with western stitching and shape. Mine were Oxblood red. I wore them until they literally fell apart.
EVERYONE LOVED THOSE BOOTS!
I have been searching for a replacement ever since. Please..Please..bring em back?

Wide-Feet Gals Salute You
Dear Fluevogians, I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my wide and barnacley feet. Your Operetta and Mini lines of shoes are a pleasure to wear. For years I struggled to find hip and comfortable shoes. With no luck until I happened upon a blogger giving you some shoe love and looking cuter-than-a-button in her green and strappy Malibrans. So thank you, mighty Fs, you've transformed a shoe wallflower into a shoe show pony.

What happened to twelve?
I am a devoted Fluevog addict (I'm not going to count how many pairs I own because that might get me in some marital hot water-some things are better left a mystery). I am still buying and loving Fluevogs, but they have also become, on occasion, a torture device. As a woman with a size 11 foot, it was wonderous when you made shoes in a size 12!! Vogs tend to run small, so sometimes your 11 just doesn't cut it. My size 11 Munsters cause me agony. What happened to twelve?

Bought a pair through the L.A. store online. Mismatched pair. I waited too long (just over the 8 month period allowed) to let them know. They wouldn't budge on helping me. E-mailed Fluevog. They also was not willing to right the wrong. Hmmm, this smacks of poor customer service. Oh, they did give me a $20 credit on my next purchase. I think not. I think I should have been able to send the defect shoes to Fluevog and then received a replacement. What do you think? Really sad.

Hi Cynthia, sorry to hear about your situation. Please don't wait 8 months to let us know if there is something wrong with the shoes, we can't do anything to help after that much time has elapsed. :(

The Boston Store
I am fortunate enough to live just two hours north of a Fluevog store. I drove down to the Newbury St. store in Boston, and was delighted to find a really helpful staff, and lots of 'Vog's in my size (an 8). Jessamy was really helpful, especially because I wanted to try on about 10 different pairs of shoes, and when I couldn't decide between all the pairs that I coveted, each of the staff members graciously put in their two cents. Most appreciated! I walked away with a great pair of Petrol Blue Together-Hi Benatar's, and put the turquoise blue Belle Star's on layaway. I am currently wearing my Together Hi's and I am so happy with the way they feel and fit. Thanks to all who made my shopping experience a great one!

I scored my first pair of Fluevogs a couple of weeks ago in Chicago. A friend and I were shopping in the Wicker Park/Bucktown area and knowing my love of shoes, she directed me to the store.
What can I say? I love them. :Fluevog: is now a topic of great discussion at my office in Denver. Love the shoes, love the name.
