While John is celebrating his 35th year in the footwear business, those at Sub Pop Records are celebrating several years of producing some of the best indy music on the planet. To commemorate this momentous milestone, the sweethearts at Sub Pop have decided to spread some Sub Pop beats around the Fluevog Galaxy.

For the month of August Fluevog and Sub Pop will give away a new, unavailable in stores, CD sampler of some of the best Sub Pop artists including Fruit Bats, Low, The Postal Service, Chad VanGaalen and Iron & Wine (while supplies last).

Next week Wednesday to Friday (August 10th to 12th) John will be in and around the Fluevog Store at 242 Queen Street West in Toronto. By all means come by to tell him your thoughts on his shoes (or his shirt), buy him a coffee (Cappuccino, one sugar of course to keep him so mad sweet), ask him how he squeezed so much funk into The Fluevog or buy a pair of his kick ass shoes (from the man himself).
