Over the last couple of weeks we have moved a whole wack* load of Shoes to our Clearance section to make your Fall a joyous, shoe-filled one. It's all divided into size availability so you don't have to spend a long time trying to find something that fits you. Everything in this section is limited quantity while supplies last.
(*Size of wack unknown, but considered very large by most accounts.)

Allow us to introduce you to a new section of the Internet. Sole Strips are not an appetizer at that new experimental fusion place, or that discreet, do-it-yourself strip club down on the corner of... well, you know where it is. Sole Strips is a side project of John's where he can use one of his favoured mediums to let Fluevogers know what he was thinking of, inspired by, and trying to communicate when he developed a particular shoe, Family and message.
The inaugural Sole Strip celebrates a new family this Fall: The Stop Its!

In his never-ending quest to give Fluevogers a voice, John unveils the latest CHOSEN design from the pre-2.0, pre-wiki Open Source Footwear Program. York, Pennsylvania-based artist Hollie Chantiles submitted her wonderful design in July 2010, and has been a regular submitter of beautiful artwork to Open Source and Fluevog Creative for some time. When John saw Hollie's submission, he pictured it fitting in perfectly with the rest of the new Fall members of the Miracles Family. And after a little back and forth we are thrilled to present The Hollie – designed with Real Fluevogers!
If you've got a shoe stuck in your head that you'd like to see removed, and turned into a real pair of Fluevogs for the whole world, submit a drawing at Open Source Footwear. For inspiration, feel free to browse through the hundreds of Fluevoger-submitted designs, and then get started. Your ideas could become actual shoes!
