Canadian shoe designer John Fluevog announces the launch of his new 'DOGs' and 'Earth Angels' at John Fluevog Shoes. "We are trying to give a variety of customers, a variety of options to suit their particular needs, beliefs, eco-standing and height. It's a tricky ask, but we're up for it", says John. Along with the popular hemp VeggieVogs launched last year, Fluevog will launch these two offerings this Summer. Regardless of your enviro/animal/natural stance these casual unisexy shoes will hit the style nail on the head.

Imagine, a sexy, sporty, casual, unisex shoe with a twist. No animals were harmed, nor even thought of in a negative manner during the production of this shoe. Materials include advanced non-leather synthetic from outer space, shock absorbing natural crepe soles and
water based glues. All the benefits of leather without the unsightly dead cow.

EARTH ANGELS Ariel, Gabriel & Ezekiel
Meet the Earth Angels, one of Fluevog’s contributions to a healthier planet. We have made use of numerous earth conscious materials and processes to make a uniquely Fluevogian eco-friendly alternative. The uppers are vegetable tanned leather that contain no chrome (a standard waste bi-product of traditional tanning). We were sure to use water soluble glues, while the soles are molded straight from the milk of the Hevea tree - this results in a latex sole that is 100% biodegradable! Without mentioning all the style and comfort features, the Earth Angels combine to make a shoe with a very small footprint, no matter what your shoe size. (Summer/Fall, $139 - 159US, $169 - 189CDN)
