VANCOUVER, December 2005
Canadian shoe designer John Fluevog announces the release of a few new lines and colours this Holiday Season. Check out the new additions to the following lines: Lip Service, Time, Fellowship Hi, Hi Choice and TWO new lines The Idols and The Bankers.

“Don’t give me no LIP SERVICE!” she bellows at her man. The Lip Service line is a lot of fun, and they’re ready to go as soon as you step in. Inspired by Ziggy Stardust meets Carmen Miranda, these shoes are OUTRAGEOUS, BRIGHT & SASSY, and are overflowing with ATTITUDE. The Gilley (top row) retail for US $225/CAN $275, while the Mandalay retail for US $209/CAN $255.

“TAKE TIME FOR YOUR SOLE.” We all have the same amount of hours in the day - it’s how you use them that counts. And as you’re wisely using all that Time, why not turn some heads while you’re at it? The Christophers (right) retail for US $189/CAN $235, while the Frank Boot retails for US $215/CAN $275.

“Old Friends and Good Friends” - The Merillees have a flared heel that will make these the most comfortable heels you own - like their Fellowship Sisters they are perfect for skipping or sipping, walking or talking, swinging or singing, missing or kissing. Like your entire Fluevog collection, you will be surprised just how much you depend on your Fellowships.
Ahhh, Sweet Jennifer - this 3-inch heel is perfect for the Holidays (plus it comes pre-wrapped with a bow). Part of John Fluevog’s popular Hi Choice Family, The Jennifer combines the Family’s heart-shaped heel, contrasting purse stitching and an asymmetrical peaked toe for a unique and modern twist to a classic look. As it says on the sole, “To love or to hate, the Choice is yours” (John’s advice is signed on the heel).
The Merillees (top row) retails for US $189/CAN $239. The Jennifers retail for US $185/CAN $239.

“Hey Idol, Get Real.” This new line has a classy leather sole and stacked leather heel, with a rubber out-sole for protection. And just to remind you that they’re Fluevogs, the uppers are made of soft buttery analine leather with Croc accents on the toe and heel. The Jacksons (top row) retails for US $229/CAN $289. The Presley Boots retail for US $269/CAN $349.
“Renew your Soul!” John wanted to make a line of shoes that was very traditional in its construction, and vintage feeling. Classic yet contemporary, with rough edges, extremely distressed leather, and rough ‘n’ tumble yet dressy appearance. The name Banker comes from the last shape. This particular shape was inspired by the shoes that all the executive types used to wear in the 50s. This classic wingtip style is right at home with a suit, or with your favorite jeans and has a renewable rubber outsole and heel lift that go right ontop of the leather sole and stacked leather heel. The Ford Shoe retails for US $169/CAN $209, while the Tucker Boot retails for US $199/Can $249.
