Always a revolutionary in modern fashion, footwear rebel and innovator
John Fluevog brings you another first in fashion history. Starting
Summer 2011, Fluevog will be selling many of his famous fashionable
styles only in 'Omni' - a single shoe that can be worn on either the
left foot or right foot without any discomfort.*

In a fit of frustration of putting his left foot into a right shoe, John
decided once and for all he was no longer going to produce 'left' or
'right' shoes in several styles. Due to the recent article in Time
magazine featuring the 'Left Footer's Club' a celebrated dance troupe
consisting of dancers with two left feet, John decided the time was
right for his new unique shoe-fit.
The General Theory of FlueVolution states that over time (roughly 5,000
years) human feet will evolve to identical foot shapes reducing the
necessity for 'left' and 'right' shoes. John decided it was time to jump
start that human progress by providing the foot ample space to flatten
out and reform itself into its omni-shape.
Until the full evolution is complete, humans will need the aid of
Fluevog's Omni Footpads (patent pending) that serve as a toe filler,
made of Fluevog Memory Foam in collaboration with the Ames Research
Center. All Fluevog Shoes will include a pair of the Omni Footpads, and
all Fluevog stores will have ample supply available to all Fluevogers
interested in the movement.

At first John decided to sell his OmniVogs in pairs, but after a united
request by the American Tripedal Association of Podiatrists and by New
York rap group De La Soul's non-profit organization "3 Feet and Riding"
(outfitting young children with Tripedalism and teaching them to ride
horseback), John decided to sell his OmniVogs in singles, with special
discounts for purchasing 3 singles. OmniVogs are available at all
Fluevog stores worldwide starting April 1, 2011.
*People with 6 toes may feel a slight discomfort. |
