Many people use Geomatics without even knowing it. Have you ever used the GPS in your car? or Google Earth? Have you ever had your property surveyed? Then you’ve used Geomatics!
From 7 October to 29 November, 2013, The Alberta Geomatics Group (AGG) is in our Calgary Fluevog’s Peanut Gallery with their exhibit “What is Geomatics?” See first hand how Geomatics professionals measure, map, photograph and analyze the Earth!
The exhibit will host displays from all facets of the Geomatics industry: Surveying, Remote Sensing, Cartography, & GIS (Geographic Information Systems).
Three cheers for knowledge! We can’t wait to see you there, Calgary Fluevogers!
