Jo Ferris of 42 Things resides in central rural Alberta, and makes handmade Mapelopes and Upcycled Bookmarks for the VogVending Machine. 42 Things was named after Jo’s favourite number since she was a child, long before she read Hitchiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Jo’s favourite pair of Vogs are the Adriana Nuni in Brown.
Jo’s Mapelopes are handmade A2 envelopes from discarded maps of all kinds, street maps, atlases and national geographics. Jo also makes upcycled bookmarks using nostalgic images from discarded Dr. Seuss books.
