For Pride 2023, wear your heart and your Pride on your sleeve, backpack, hat, or anywhere else you want to spread positivity, with this beautifully bright, love-filled enamel pin! Created in collaboration with Montréal-based brand Femporium, this Fluevog Pride Pin reimagines their original artwork, Heart of Lightning (Coeur de foudre), with the colours of the Progress Pride Flag and also includes our Fluevog “F”.
Femporium is run by Maly Siri and Laure Mo, two artists dedicated to empowering feminism, LGBTQIA2S+ inclusivity, body positivity, dark feminine energy and spirituality, dominatrix fetishes, and rock ‘n’ roll badassery with their work. Here’s what they had to say about their design for the Fluevog Pride Pin:
This heart is visually reminiscent of the Christian sacred heart Ex Voto, but is in no way religious and is more of an icon that reappropriates the meaning of the heart.
Your heart is the compass that is made to lead your steps in life. You know, that little, almost inaudible voice in the background saying, “This is the truth; this is the right path. This is love.”
It is also the beat that pulses and radiates your vibe around you, attracting the good things to you. We were happy to surround this heart with the colours of the Progress Pride Flag, like a spectrum of light radiating the beautiful diversity of our world, the fun, and the indestructible will to exist and co-exist through creativity and allyship.
This year’s Pride is extremely important—in a period in time when queer, LGBTQ speech is politically misused against our own values of peace, acceptance, living together, and universal love.
These are a part of our values at Femporium. Queer and ally positivity and spiritual positive empowerment of the divine badassery within anyone who wears our pins! It is our mission to remind people of their power through statement creations that they can wear with Pride while spreading the love around. Little pins, big impact!
100% of profits from the Pride Pin will be donated to Rainbow Railroad, a global non-profit organization that helps LGBTQI+ people facing persecution based on their sexual orientation, gender identity, and sex characteristics.
