Fluevog is okay with a cosmetic defect on all of them???

Skip these and wait for Fluevog to fix them. I just received the black and the pink Agaves in W12/M10. They looked cute online, and provogs have a stellar reputation, BUT there is a major cosmetic defect smack in the middle of the toe cap where the rubber is creased and bumped up. If you imagine that the rounded part of the toe cap is a head, the defect is an inflamed and enlarged Pilar cyst sticked out of the middle of the forehead at the hair line because the vulcanized rubber toe cap wasn't molded fown properly. That, plus the glue residue all over the seams, makes these $279 sneakers look like $15 sneakers from Payless. I sent photos to the store that fulfilled the online order (Denver) and they said that defect is present on all of them. Who let this defect get past the quality control elves, and why isn't it shown in the photos or listed in the description online??? The other sneakers in different patterns don't have the issue, so it has to be this particular model. A Fluevogologist at Denver tried to tell me that Converse and Vans have the same issue, but anyone who knows those shoes knows that's not true at all. I'm not sure why she said that, but Denver seems pretty keen on me returning these to them. That's most likely what's going to happen here because these are not even close to the quality that I've come to expect from Fluevog and definitely not worth the asking price. I would pay $40 for these at a Skechers outlet store. Not $279 as a new design from Fluevog. It's a shame because the fit is good and they looked great online :( Hopefully Fluevog updates the website photos so none of their other loyal customers gets to be disappointed.
