These run HUGE.
I normally take an 8-8.5 in this family. My Germaines are a bit snug at an 8, so I got these in an 8.5. They are huge. I could easily take a 7.5, maybe even a 7 in these, there is so much space. Serious toe cleavage showing. Might just be the yellow ones? I dunno. They are freaking gorgeous, though. Can't mark them down for that. I often get emails about sizing for my orders, but not in this case. Alas.....

I don't like to play favourites, but...
I have these in the neon yellow/green colourway and they have become my go-to pair when I want to add a pop of colour to an otherwise plain outfit! I call them my "highlighter shoes." They're great with dresses or pants, for more casual or formal looks. They were totally comfortable right out of the box, even without socks. I got them in my usual Fluevog size 7 and they fit perfectly. Having 3 straps with buckles is great for someone with narrow low-volume feet. The leather is soft and beautiful and I made sure to care for them with a neutral shoe cream to prevent cracking.

Fabulous, Comfy...Flaky?
I adore these shoes - the customizable arch height via buckles, the bright neon yellow color, the softness of the leather, the fact that I can dance in them, the toe box...I was set on getting another pair immediately.
However, the paint on the leather is the flakiest I've ever encountered. It began sluffing off the strap the first time I put them on, and within the month was also flaking in places on the body of the shoe. Wear and tear is normal on leather - but it usually doesn't happen that fast, in my experience! Am desperately trying to find a leather treatment product in that same neon yellow to touch up on the body of the shoe...
Maybe this will be less of a problem for the shiny patent shoes in this family? But be prepared to baby the neon yellow leather ones if you get them.

I love these! I am a street size 12, and bought in a 12- they are pretty true to size. I could have gone down a half size because I have a narrow foot, but the buckle makes the shoe very secure and it doesn't feel too long or large. I bought the brown color and it is stunning and classic. Incredibly comfortable right out of the box!

Amazing!
I adore the deep eggplant purple and hope more will be coming in this leather. I sized up to a 6.5 from my normal 5.5-6 because I needed extra room across the ball of my foot. This is consistent with the rest of the Classy family with its pointy toes. I have extra room length wise, but the straps mean my foot is held in and I'm not walking out of the shoe. The low heel height is very comfortable for me. Overall a fantastic shoe! Highly recommend!

Cute but a fall hazard
These are my first pair of fluevogs but I’ve been a fan of the brand for a long time. Packaging was very cute and the shoes are sooo pretty. I got them in eggplant. They’re a bit on the big side for me but the Mary Jane straps keep my foot secure.
Unfortunately, the soles are EXTREMELY slippery. Wore these to work for the first time and slid half a dozen times, fell twice. Worse than scraping my knees I scraped the beautiful patent finish on both of the swordfish toes :(

John Fluevog Shoes

The Classy Bach heels, handcrafted in Peru, have glossy leather soles that can be slippery on carpet and smooth surfaces until they're broken-in and scuffed up a bit. A Fluevogologist will be reaching out to you shortly to send you some adhesive grip pads for your soles and consult with you on how we can touch-up the scuff on the toe of the shoes.
Big Mary Jane Fan, but not very reddish!
Just describing a shoe as Mary Jane catches my eye. And red is my absolute favorite color. So these were made for me. They arrived today and I’m a little disappointed in the brown color. Describing it as reddish brown was very misleading. I have no intention of returning them, they fit great, look fabulous but take the reddish out of the color so someone else is not disappointed. This was my 12th pair of Fluevogs and my first disappointment….but will still keep them because they look so good. I normally wear a 9 in Fluevogs, but went to a 9 1/2 and it was perfect.
