Ce talon Charles IX de la famille Fruitful rafraîchissante et savoureuse est doté d’une silhouette exquise, d’un bout rond, d’un dessin adorable sur la semelle et d’un talon sculpté à la main par John. Il est tellement alléchant que vous devrez garder en tête qu’il n’est pas comestible! Eat the Forbidden Fruit (Goûte le fruit défendu).

Le talon Gala est définitivement une pointure plus grande, en plus d’être assez large. Il est donc conseillé à la plupart des gens de prendre une pointure plus petite et d’insérer une semelle intérieure ¾ pour soutenir la voûte plantaire conçue pour les talons hauts. Une fois bien ajusté, il fait comme un charme.

Complimented Even in the Dark
Bought the red patent Galas with wonderful, expert help from Nyjha at the Newbury store. Wore them yesterday for the first time on a night out with my husband to dinner and a movie. Got a compliment on them from a stranger at the movie theater — in the dark! They are so joyful and fun to wear. I sized down to 9.5 from my usual Fluevog size 11.

So Sweet !
I purchased Gala in the delectable red patent.
As soon as I saw these on the website, they went in my cart! I love a Mary Jane -but these are next level with the bumped toe and beautifully sculpted heel.
The heel is 3 inches, which I find to be a perfect height. The red patent leather is so glossy, very eye-catching! The bumped toe allows for wiggle room, which is a huge plus.
I ordered these in my street size as they do seem to run big. I went down 1/2 size from my normal Vog size. I recommend speaking to a Fluevogologist if you are not able to try on before purchasing, to help you get the right fit as some are going down a full size in this style.

These Galas are Delicious!
My most favorite Fluevologist, Denny (from the Haight St. store), suggested these beautiful shoes would fit me even though the largest size is a women's 11. I ordered them, but also told myself to not get too excited because they might just be too short. To my absolute surprise and delight they fit! So, let me tell you a bit about this beautiful Gala vog:
The deeply saturated apple red color is so evocative of Dorothy's red Mary Jane shoes in that very classic movie (you know, the one with toto), but the slightly bulbous rounded toe with that thick, curvy heel takes it from innocent to sexy AF! If you see yourself in that description, you will not be left alone when you wear these out on the town.
They seem to run almost a full size bigger than most Fluevogs, so if you have normal shaped feet and toes you may want to size down a full size (please ... always check with your fluevologist first - they are trained and have knowledge of these shoes and often know your feet better than you do). That said, if you have long toes, you will most likely need to go down just a half size or stay with your regular Fluevog size.
They seem to run medium-wide, so if you have wide feet, you are gonna love the width but if you have skinny feet like me you’re gonna want to invest in something like the Superfeet 3/4 arch supports that Fluevog sells to fill in some of that space. The strap is generous in length, and Fluevog has taken those of us with thinner feet into consideration and prepunched plenty of holes in it to achieve the perfect fit.
The heel! OMG, that Sexy Heel!!!!! If you are worried about wearing heels or don't feel confident that they'll be comfortable, you will be happily surprised at how comfy and sturdy these are. Between the spacious footbed and the sturdy width of the heel, you will sashay your way through the C-Suites, through restaurants, on the dance floor, and anyplace you deem fit for your presence. These heels are super comfy.
So, these shoes are absolute stunners and you should try on a pair and see for yourself just how glorious these are!
