Run don't walk in these
Oh my gosh, I finally decided to stop debating and buy these. And I'm glad I did. These are cute comfortable. For me I'm a sz. 8 in non-vogs. The sz. 8 work perfectly for me. I get lots of compliments even from random strangers while on the train.

lovely
they are a tiny bit big.(it is a good job the online sales people advised me not to get a half size up) but with ankle grips are perfect. I love them. They remind me of childhood and summer. Given that I shop online I am surprised at how friendly and personal the servic is. They specifically emailed me when they saw i had gotten a different pair made from a smaller last to tell me to get a 1/2 size down.

Divine!
My first pair of fluevogs and since ordering these (maybe 8 weeks ago) I already purchased 2 more. What can I say they are divine, the fit is fantastic and they look amazing with my collection of retro and vintage dresses. I purchased the black but I'm tempted to grab the other colour as well. I wear a size 11.5 usually and the size 12 fit perfectly.

A beautiful mustardy yellow dream
My second pair of shoes from the Operetta family. I have a pair of Operetta Fiorenzas that I bought a couple of years ago that never fit quite right. The big toe on my left foot just hates those gorgeous, smile-inducing shoes. Yet the Viardot seems to be blessedly free of the same problem!
I get that they're mostly a spring/summer shoe, but I look forward to wearing them on a dreary Vancouver November day for my own personal burst of sunshine. @>-

Better than fuzzy slippers!
This shoe is more comfortable than my fuzzy slippers! I put it on my first foot, and it felt as though I was sliding into a smooth, soft pillow! I can't believe how very comfortable this shoe is! I don't even notice the heel, as its like walking barefoot! Thanks for such a wonderful fitting shoe!

:-D I love these! I got the cream on clearance, and I think I'll need to snag a yellow pair as well. These remind me of the type of shoes my mother would wear as a little girl (1950s), they're very retro and cute. And, of course, comfortable! I got a size 9.5 to start, but they were too small, so I received a 10 instead, and it fit like a dream. In non-Vogs I'm normally a 9-9.5, but I seem to be an all-round 10 in Fluevog size.

True love, again!
I just received these beauties and they are awesome, just like my other 14 pair! I bought the beautiful new Brightons in green and grey and liked them so much I wanted another pair of Operettas. Most of my shoes are Minis and these are sort of similar in that they have a wide, round toe box and a super comfortable high-ish heel. I usually take a 7.5 in Fluevogs shoes, an 8 for boots. The Brightmans are perfect in a 7.5 so that's what I tried to order but the super helpful Crystal and her team in Portland suggested I go down to a 7 in these and she was totally right. I still might put some insoles in them but I think going down a full size would have been too short. Like the Elifs and Zazas, the separate heel cup makes them fit a little looser than other styles. They are super cute and I love the strap that crosses the foot diagonally - a great twist on the traditional Mary-Janes. The strap has elastic goring so they are easy on and off. Very highly recommended!

Fluevog Virginity Lost!
So, a friend who is a recent first time Fluevoger showed me the clearance shoes and I was instantly in love. I pondered and pondered for weeks over which ones I would purchase. I was a little nervous since I was buying on line. That to me is a big NO NO since I want my shoes to love and take care of my feet. I started with these in the cream. Great price, they looked comfy... Little did I know they would fit as though they were made for my foot. When I first put them on I thought they might be a little too tight but that quickly changed. I wore them around the house for about five minutes and I was off. They are fabulous. They are so cute and way comfortable. Thanks Fluevog, already trying to decide on my next pair!

Best work shoes but I need A button
These are the best shoes for any suit and they are so comfortable that lugging around heavy files between offices and court is no problem at all!! Only thing is a button came off and I can't get a replacement button in Australia. Any ideas?

What else could I wear to Cinderella!
I love these shoes so much. Not only does the colour make me feel cheery, I always receive compliments from passers by, who claim they've brightened their day too. I've recently worn them to a Melbourne Cup function in Australia and today I wore them to see a ballet production of Cinderella. Unlike the eponymous heroine you can bet I was taking great care not to loose them at midnight!

Great Shoes for the Big Day
I own a few different shoes and boots from the Operetta family. They're instantly comfortable - amazingly so for a 2.5" heel!
I picked these up in cream for my wedding day, knowing that I needed elegant and comfortable heels to see me through the ceremony and reception in style. The diagonal strap looks great and has a little strip of elastic that makes taking them on and off really easy. (Convenient for a wedding by the beach...) Thanks, Fluevog!

My new favourite shoes
My shoes arrived so quickly, from more than halfway across the world. These are my first pair of Fluevogs, and they are the loveliest shoes I think I've ever had. I was dithering over size; I'm a UK 5.5 or an EU 38, and chose the 7 in these. They are totally perfect, like they were made for my feet : )

Love both cinnamon & goldenrod
You will not believe how much cuter these are on your foot than on the website! Compliments everywhere! I wear a size 10 in the non-Fluevog world and can wear either a 9.5 or a 10 in these. Already these goldenrod shoes are my favorite of all Fluevogs.

Love these shoes!
My husband bought a purple pair of these for me as a birthday gift. These are my go-to shoes as they go with skirts/dress pants/jeans and they get a lot of compliments. One of the buttons fell off, and I haven't figured out how to get a replacement part since I don't live near a store, but I wear them anyways! Highly recommend!

I now have three pairs of these babies
I picked these up in yellow ages ago - they quickly became one of my go-to favourites. I've had to replace the heels twice so far!
Then the cinnamon came out and I had to have them - they're also gorgeous, and in regular rotation.
Yesterday they arrived at my place in black. Guess what I'm wearing today :) They're even more gorgeous than I figured they'd be.
All three pairs are now my staples. They work with pants, jeans, skirts, and always get compliments. Not to mention the fact that they're fantastically comfortable! I may end up getting the brown and white ones yet.
For sizing, Operetta heels are one of two Fluevog heel styles that I go down 1/2 size (the other is the Mini). A 9 fits me perfectly, whereas most of my other Fluevogs are a 9.5.
If you're hesitating on these, don't. They're well worth the money! I constantly reach for them over and over again, out of the 30+ pairs of 'vogs I own.

Pligrimage to Seattle Fluevog
()-) I was on a mission during a recent business trip to Seattle. I COULD NOT WAIT to walk into the place where it all began and have my first in-store Fluevog experience! The store smelled of rich leather with hints of elusive champagne and was close to my idea of heaven. I celebrated by buying these little honey colored Operettas. Trying them on and standing in front of the mirror was a moment of pure bliss. They are like rays of sunshine that brighten my day. They also brightened the gloomy Seattle skies for others too! In fact I couldn't walk from my hotel room to the elevator without getting a compliment about these shoes. Then I spread the love by recruiting two co-workers, aka: f-shoe-virgins (soon-to-be-devote-fluevogians) to check out the Seattle store digs. They each walked out with their own little boxes of fluevog-happiness. We had a great time with everyone there!

I have these in natural and I adore them. Super comfy. I repeat the advice of others and note that these are slightly smaller than other shoes in this range... I have fiorenza in 7 but these in 6.5. I wanted the dark brown with purple trim but of course, sold out. I want to get another 2 pairs of these shoes - please Fluevog - more colours!!!

Almost Cried..
Cutest. Shoes. EVER! Bought these last weekend in NYC and then walked 4 hours straight without any problems. Bought the 7.5 which is my regular non-Fluevog size. I have wider feet and these shoes are PERFECT!! I must have every color! PS the NYC store staff was awesome! KISSES!!

Can't stop looking at me feet
The fine folks at the San Francisco store sent me these beauties in Goldenrod, happily resending a smaller size as needed. I own several "operetta" heels. For sizing reference I own 8s in the other styles (Malibran & Fiorenzas) but required a 7.5 in these. Hope this helps.
The Virdots are lovely and comfortable, and especially forgiving of gals with imperfect (and slightly broad) feet. Their adorable factor is higher than any other shoe I own. A perfectly cute storm of color and style!

Cutest Shoes Ever!
My 3rd pair of Vogs and the BEST so far (and I love my Michaels and Erikas)! These make me think "Spring!" every time I look at them, and they go with almost all of my warm-weather clothes. They are amazingly sturdy and super-comfortable, even after 10-hour days pounding up and down corporate hallways. Best of all, they fit perfectly right out of the box with no break-in needed! Lovely AND amazing!

LOVE these shoes!
I went to the Seattle store while visiting my sister, tried these on on impulse, and fell in LOVE with them! I am an 8 1/2, but the 8 fit perfectly. So cute on, so incredibly comfortable, and I am not usually very comfortable in heels. These are amazing!! And, to my husband's regret, converted me to Fluevogs. Beautiful shoes!

I tried on a Goldenrod pair in the New York store last weekend (Washington desperately needs a Fluevog shop! Please consider it!) and absolutely loved them--except that the size 5 was more like a size 6. I would have bought them if they had fit! :'(

These were my first two pairs of Fluevogs. I purchased them in both black and yellow. I love them.... so very comfortable yet stylish. I usually wear size 7 medium but found these to fit big so 6.5 fits me perfectly.

LOVE
I LOVE these shoes. The only reason I don't wear them every day is because I'm a preschool teacher and I can't wear heels, sit in 12-inch chairs, and keep up in heels if I have to run to catch someone. Plus I don't want them covered in tempera paint. LOL
I LOVE these shoes! I'm a large person with large feet, size 11W toes, with an 11M heel, and a high instep. Every problem area on these shoes is PERFECT. My toes never hurt, the heel doesn't slip, the strap over the top of my foot isn't too tight, AND they're comfortable for me even though I'm heavier and don't wear heels as often as some.

I have these in black & wear them frequently. So incredibly comfortable, as are all the Operettas. I love the stability of the heaal and the comfy toe box. I walk to work up and down hills and my feet don't complain. Watching for new colours...

I have a pair of these in the brown/purple and they are both comfortable and sexy. I have several shoes from the Operetta line and these are one of my favorites. I actually went down a half size in these from a 9 to an 8.5.

These are possibly the world's perfect shoes. They were among my first Fluevogs. I have them in a color no longer available--beautiful pale gray and brown, with cream embroidery. I swear I wear them 3 days a week on average. They are super comfortable and beautiful and go with everything I own that's not black. Get a pair!

Fabulous
After a year of contemplating, I finally got my first pair of Vog in goldenrod. They are everything as everyone was saying. The only minor flaw is that the threads on the stripes damage my pantyhose. Overall, I’m very happy with my Vogs and planning to buy more in the future.

Sunshine Yellow!
With no disrespect to my other 5 pairs of Fluevogs...these are BY FAR my favorite and most comfortable! I was hesitant to buy the yellow but the FABULOUS sales guy at the Granville/Vancouver location convinced me that I could wear yellow with just about anything...oh how I love him for telling me that! These shoes draw stares and comments - all positive of course! They are very very comfortable and look so cute! I wear them to work as part of my 'business attire' and they are perfect...as are they equally perfect in the summer with a pair of short at a casual event! If I could justify it I would buy one in every color!

I just got these in the goldenrod color and am over the moon. They are adorable and perfect and so comfortable you can't believe it. They do definitely run large; I usually wear an 8 and got a 7 1/2, which I'm very happy with, though I bet I would have even been fine with a seven. I coveted these for three years and am so happy to finally have them!

Perfect fit
I absolutely love my White Operetta Viardot - first pair of Vogs! They fit my feet so well, it was hard to believe. I usually have such a hard time buying shoes that I can walk in, it's not even funny. So always end up settling for something not pretty but comfortable. I wore this for my wedding-the message on the sole was just perfect ... my friends thought I had it personalized! Didn't even need to break into it and my feet was happy the whole time!!

Great fit for people w/ wide width feet
These fit really well, are very comfortable, and don't pinch at all. The strap that goes across the top of your foot is slightly on the tight side, but they do stretch slightly. The shoes look wonderful and don't feel like you're wearing heels at all! I'm in love! @>-

i wanted to buy the viardots in cream, to get more wear out of them, but my normal size of 6.5 was way too big! i ended up fitting a 5 (??), & couldn't leave without them - so goldenrod it is! sure they don't go with as much, but they are so cute & get noticed/complimented so much! of course, they're psychotically comfortable, i wear these & my malibrans barefoot - & can run/jump around with amazingly comfortable feet! love live the vogs! & the montreal store is heaven!

My, Oh my..5th pair!
My first pair of Vogs were the Malibrans, which I got at the NYC store, a year ago from April. They required no breaking in time. Back in Montreal, I went for more Vogs. I bought the Bips in two colours. Comfy, but not to wear as long as my Operettas. I bought the Friends but they don't stay on. :-(
So, when returning to NYC last weekend, I decided to try the black Viardots.
All my other Vogs are size 9, but these fit well in an 8.5.
To show how comfortable these shoes are, the next day I wore them because the sandals I had been wearing the day before had caused my feet some pain. Yup - my tired, sore, swollen feet were only able to walk in my brand new Viardots!

New favorite shoe color: orange
I found these goldenrod shoes and was immediately smitten. After working overtime to pay for these beauties, I ran downtown to grab them. I love, love, love these shoes. They go with all the warm colors in my wardrobe, and look equally awesome with jeans as with more formal pants or skirts. And as with my other Fluevogs, you can wear heels all day and your feet are as comfy as when you wear sneakers.
If you're not fortunate enough to have a store near you, I'd recommend ordering a 1/2 size smaller than usual. I'm normally a size 9M; nothing special about my feet. The 8 1/2 fits like a glove.
And as always: expect to be stopped. I wore them for 8 hours yesterday and received 6 compliments from total strangers. I told them where I got them, of course--everybody should have such awesome shoes. I'm happy to advertise for you, Mr Fluevog! Thanks so much for another outstanding pair!

My huny bought me these for my Birthday this year, and these were also my very first pair of Fluevogs. I had my eye on these babys for the last 6 months at least. I usually wear a 10 so I bought a 10 and they fit like a glove! Sooo comfy and soft inside. Wore them to work with jeans and they are very cute! Can't wait to buy another pair of Vogs...so hooked on these shoes now!

Unforgettable
These are my first Vogs and I will never forget when I bought them...they are so absolutely beautiful and comfi, it's unbelievable! I'd like to wear them more often, but here in Van the weather isn't good @ the moment. I truely love them and I just always get compliments when I wear them! Yesterday, waiting at the busstation, two elderly women (70 up) went by and were flabbergasted about my shoes...they couldn't look away, they stared @ my Vogs for about 10 minutes!!! Great deal though!! And I can truely say that these aren't my last Vogs...MUST HAVE a black pair once when I'm back in Switzerland, working again!! ,-)

MY SHOES
I don't get to wear these as much as I'd like to. They're not really beach wear. But I love them to death. I have them on display on my dresser...also warding off the invasive mold from the ocean air. When my friends come over I say, "have you seen my shoes?" The few times I've been able to wear them "out" they were all any of my communication partners could talk about. I love them. This is my second pair of Fluevogs, and they won't be my last. :-D

Sadly, I had to return these because the diagonal strap rubbed against my ankle in an uncomfortable way. The design, height of the heel, and roomy toebox otherwise would have been perfect. The problem with the strap surprised me because I tried these on in Vancouver and fell in love (but waited to get back to the U.S. to buy them). I then tried them on again in the Boston store and they felt great -- only they did not have the color I wanted. So I ordered them online and the pair I received had that uncomfortable strap. Not sure why the straps on other pairs I tried on didn't bother me. (:`(

My Perfect Wedding Shoes!!!
I plan on dancing all night at my wedding next April, and I thought a pair of Fluevogs might fit the bill, but I worried that the toes of these shoes would be too boxy for my dress. Not so! The ivory embroidery on the toes matches my '60s sheath dress perfectly. So excited!!!

Like Buttah
I've been drooling over these in Goldenrod since last August when I saw them in the NYC store. (I opted for the Pearl Heart Bellevues in red that day.) I was leery of buying online as my feet tend to be persnickety about size and I wasn't sure about ordering a half size smaller. Sure enough, though, the adorable Vogger brought out a 6.5 and it fit my size 7 feet like buttah.
I'm sporting them around Houston now with zero "new-shoe" discomfort. I adore them. Adore!! And I've pointed no fewer than 5 people in the last 3 hours to the website to get their own. (Because I do not share my Vogs.)

Super comfy fab!
I originally came to the Gastown store to get my purple Vanny, but couldn't resist trying on the brown and purple Operetta Viardots.. Oh. they are just so comfy and cute... I looked at my hubby, gave him my big pleading kitty eyes ?:-) and he laughing said "get them". So, this pair followed me home as well! They fit well true to my size and just so comfy. No breaking in time needed!

I bought these Vogs in Goldenrod, and I am in love. As noted by other commenters, they do run a little large. I normally run a 9.5 in Fluevogs and got these in a 9, just to be safe, and they fit nicely! It took a few days to wear them in, but now I can wear them all day with no trouble whatsoever. I have a wide foot, so those of you out there with a wider foot wondering, yes they will work for you! They get compliments whenever I wear them (which is often), and look fantastic with a pair of dark blue jeans. Or brown dress pants. Or skirts. Or just about anything you can imagine, really.

Yellow shoes...who knew?? :)
Saw these in the Boston store several months ago and thought, "They're super cute...but what on Earth do I have in my wardrobe that would go with YELLOW shoes??" Wouldn't you know it, they go FABULOUSLY with earth tones -- browns, muted greens, etc -- and really make a statement! People will stop you on the street to stare at your feet :) Very comfortable too -- they were a bit tight the first two or three times I wore them, but after that the leather stretched to fit my foot, and it was smooth sailing from there. Now I can even run to catch trains in them! Yellow shoes -- who knew? :) Thanks Mr. Fluevog! :)

First Fluevogs wildly successful!
My retirement income forces me to seek great shoes at a reduced price. I couldn't resist the Operettas/Viardot with the cunning embroidery when I found them at a price I could almost justify. Had never heard of Fluevogs but wow! I am really a fan now. Such way-out style but with amazing comfort. I can wear these 2 1/2 inch beauties all day and all night...not bad for a savvy senior citizen!

My dreamy wedding shoes

divine fluevog
I just received my fluevogs from the US. I previously bought a pair in San Francisco in 2007, so I had an idea of sizing. However Denny was spot on with recommendations for various shoe styles as to what would fit best (I am normally an 8.5 shoe - Australia and the US are the same sizing - and was an 8 in the Operetta as it is made slightly large), thank you Denny.
The Operetta Viardot feel beautiful, look wonderful and confirm my love of Fluevogs for not just their fabulous style but also the comfort for a heeled shoe. Well priced for a leather upper and leather lined shoe which will last for more than one season.

I bought these shoes at a boutique in Lockport, MB called Eveline Street. I didn't think they would look good on my feet or perhaps not be comfortable but I tried them on and fell in love with them! They are red with pink stitching and they were worth every penny! Thanks.

LOVE these shoes!
I bought these in the goldenrod colour about a month and a half ago, fully expecting them to be my "I love them - too bad I never get to wear them" shoes. But the colour is surprisingly versatile and goes with just about everything I own. I wear them even more than my olive Malibrans, and that's saying something! They look equally cute with dark denim jeans, which is what I wear 99% of the time, as they do with a summery skirt. And they get noticed. These are not the shoes for someone who doesn't like attention. I've had strangers stop me so they could take a better look at them, and one actually asked to touch the stitching! Aside from that, they're super comfortable... but I knew that they would be. The heel height is perfect; just tall enough to give a lift, and sturdy enough that my feet don't feel tired at the end of the day. But the best part is that they somehow make my flat, wide feet look almost elegant. Until I tried these on, I had no idea that a shoe could actually flatter a foot. Now I know better. I love these shoes!

Viardot Yellow Shoes
I was at the check out at Sunterra, and looked down to notice a beautiful pair of yellow shoes the lady beside was wearing. I complimented her on the shoes. I asked her where she purchased them. I went to Gravity Pope and purchased a pair. I love these shoes!!! They are the most comfortable shoes I have worn in years. I think I'll purchase a black pair as well. If you love this shoe, buy a second pair!

Happy yellow shoes
My goldenrod viardot shoes make me smile every time I wear them. They are my "happy friday" shoes. I saw them in the store and waited 3 weeks before buying them - well, because I couldn't imagine what I had that I would wear with them. They are actually the perfect compliment to almost any outfit - fun, happy, summery. And super comfortable. I have small, but wide feet and the fit me fine (and maybe even run a little big!)

I don't know if I take the cake for love of these shoes or not but I will be wearing them down the aisle! In cream. The first and only pair of white shoes in history that looked good on my feet- not the petite kind of feet. ]:o)

Love my new Fluevogs!!!
I was devestated when my partners dog ATE my last pair of Fluevogs. Just recently I paid another visit to Huda in Lockport, MB. I love these shoes to death!!! They are extremely comfy and fit like a glove!!!

My wedding shoes
I bought them immediately as the white ones came back for my wedding shoes! They were the perfect choice for my feet. I wear them now and i just adore them everytime I put them on.

I bought my special colour combo, red & pink Viardots from Huda at Eveline's in Lockport... just love them so much because they are super comfortable and so unique. Like all other Fluevog shoes I wear, I get loads of compliments. : )

My feet are blessed !
I was searching for a white shoe for the warmer season. I tired on the cream and Grey style. If my two feet could sing...... it would be heavenly music. They are so comfortable . If it wasn't for the winter snow on the ground, I would have worn them right after I purchased them.

I went into the store planning to buy a whole different shoe. I was getting shoes to wear to a couple of weddings. The shoes I had in mind, while gorgeous, did not look right on my feet. A member of the excellent sales staff suggested I try these. I never would have looked twice at them, as they looked a little clunky on the shelf to me, but once they were on my feet, they were transformed: adorable, immensely flattering, and it almost goes without saying with Fluevogs, really really comfortable. The odd diagonal strap makes the shoes really stand out, and I love the way my legs look with them on.

Sweet happy shoes
I love these shoes more than my slippers. I bought them in the goldenrod colour, and they keep a smile on my face whenever I look at them. I tend to look at my own feet once in a while when standing in the shoes, but who cares if people think I'm crazy... I AM crazy about these. Dorothy and her red shoes in the Wizard of Oz? I know that feeling now.

Love it!
I have been searching for that perfect heel ... and the search is over! I am on my feet ALL day, on concrete, and the Viardot keeps me look fabulous! I get compliments on them every time I wear them. True to size, and comfortable for even wider feet!

Got these in the purple color last summer and they've held up really well. Very comfortable heel height and I can walk a few miles in them before any discomfort sets in. Oh, and totally adorable too!
