45th Fluevog Day online purchase & suggestion for a new store in Sydney
I had just received these amazing, comfortable shoes from the online Fluvevog Day sale. I got the black & grey version whgich are great for work and leisure. The heels are just perfect height. I ordered a sz 7 & they fit perfectly. I noticed that there were 2 1/2 soles stuck inside the shoes. I wondered if they were intended to be there or someone had stuck in there from the shop or they were returns?! In any case, I could wear without the 1/2 soles or with. In fact the half soles had added comfort for walking. This is my ?th pair which I lost count already as this is not my only purchase on Fluevog Day! Again, thank you, John, for designing such wonderful shoes! What's the likelihood of opening a store in Sydney, which is very similar to Vancouver in many ways except it's less cold in winter? I'm sure you know you have many fans in Sydney & other cities in Australia. Please consider Sydney as your next store &/or visit Sydney if you haven't already! Just as these shoes say "Keep pushing west and beyond your imagination"!

Love my Mollies!
I just got two pair of these lovelies on the Fluemarket - I know it's not the same, but I thought my experience might be helpful.
I bought a half size up in hopes they fit and they do! I have a little too much space in the heel, but not enough to create heel slip.
So, I think I will keep looking for my size and sell these when I find 9s, but until then, I'm a happy Mollier!

These are terrific
These shoes are terrific -- design, neutral color scheme of black/gray, great fit due to lace up. Very comfortable. Wish you had more color combos available, but then I'd need a bigger place just to store them all.

Oh so gorgeous
I was looking online for my 10th pair of Fluevogs, a pair that was dressy and special but work-friendly. I am well stocked for boots, so initially was attracted by the high and glamorous Queen Transcendent Nefertiti. Lucky for me, after owning up to wide feet and being more elephant than gazelle in heels, Lesley of the LA store talked me down from my high heels and suggested these. They arrived today and are truly beautiful. Comfortable and so easy to walk in. Only downside is that I am not getting much work done as I can't stop admiring these lovely creations!

Love!
These are delicious! I have the lovely baby blue and they are just great for spring & summer! While visiting Boston, I stopped into the shop (as is my habit any time I am in a city with a Fluevog store!) and tried on so many shoes, mostly from the Kitschy Kitschy Boom Boom and the Mini families. These caught my eye when I walked in but tried the others first. When it was determined my feet would not work with the other families, the young lady helping me (sorry, I didn't catch her name!) suggested these and the Miracle Revelation.
As I wear a lot of blues and greens but not too many pinks, I tried these. Wow! I love them! The only down side was they didn't have my size (9.5 in most 'Vogs), so we had to order them. Luckily, the DC store had them in stock. Time to wait...
Quick delivery of the shoes and what a nice surprise when I opened the package! Thank you, Shawn, for the little surprises you packed with my beauties!
My husband and two sons (eleven and nine) love the shoes! When the shoes arrived, I was in the first week of a brand new job. Everyone noticed these shoes! And the six people that commented (four of them men) just loved them. I think the others were just too jealous to mention them :)
Comfy straight out of the box, just as always. I love the Fluevogs and the new cards that the sales lady gave me in Boston to hand out. This is first of my eight pairs that I have actually purchased in a store. I must say the fit is always correct. These folks know the shoes and how your feet will fit. It is amazing and indicative of excellent training and product knowledge. Thank you for going the extra mile to provide such wonderful service!

First Fluevogs
I got these several years ago, when I was first delving into dressing nicely (and with vintage flavour!). Bought them in the black/grey combo, and have enjoyed them ever since. I now own 6 pairs of Fluevogs, and love every one of them; but these are the only neutral-coloured Fluevogs I own, and my go-to when I'm in doubt as to which pair to wear. Plus, they go so nicely with my 20s, 30s and 40s dresses without completely hogging the spotlight! A quintessential Fluevog.

Jessica from the T.O. Distillery District helped me find these beautiful shoes. After much indecision on which style I liked best, I walked out the door in these beauties and immediately had people ogling my feet.
I wear 8.5 and these were no exception. The leather is wonderfully soft and there was no breaking in required. I should not love shoes this much!

Just received these shoes in the mail, after much anticipation. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed in the colour. I know that photography + computer screens can lead to inconsistent results, but I was expecting the centre band to be grey, NOT dark brown. Now I will be out shipping from my own pocket to return a pair of shoes that I never would have ordered in the first place, had I known. I love Fluevogs from the bottom of my heart (this is pair #6), which makes the disappointment that much worse. :( Live and learn.

Best work shoes EVER!!
I have the olive/black suede version. They are among the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned, and I have worn pretty much everything in every price range. More comfy even than my Malibrans, though I still like those too. My foot is wide in front, narrow in back; the tie-in keeps me securely in my shoes. They are extremely flattering on the foot, with the low cut toe box. They have enough style to keep me happy, but are not so wild that I feel self-conscious in a conservative office. And if I look great and feel great, then I can do great work!

I bought 2 pairs of Bellevues in 1 day and I just love them, sorry I waited so long! On the computer this pair in olive looked brown, but in person they are a beautiful green and now I want them in more colors, too. Very comfortable for all-day wear at work, I thought I'd need my usual 7.5 but the 8 fit a bit better.

Lost my fluginity
First time I heard about Fluvog Shoes was yesterday evening when my friend showed me one of her pairs. We went down to the Toronto store at the opening today and after a few tries finally was successful fitting my finicky feet with comfortable shoes, then I had a delema of choosing between models. At the moment I am resting my feet but have on these super comfortable shoes.
Best of all, they have a store in my hometown also. Can't wait to wear them to work.

Amazing!
I just bought these in the pale grey/navy combo at the Wicker Park (Chicago) store. I'd seen them on the website and thought they were pretty,but in person I noticed that the pale grey is actually a delicate grey/blue; a color which I adore! So... I had to have them. Thank goodness I had a bit of a "shoe budget!" I love the vintage asthetic and curved heel of this shoe family. These, (as well as the black Pearl Harts I got online few months ago) will serve as 'everyday' work heels, as they are quite comfortable. Great shoes!

OMG
had I guessed from the pictures that these shoes were so so beautiful (and fit my narrow long foot perfectly) I would have gotten them in dark grey/navy before they ran out of my size X-) -- i have them in black/grey and my plan was to keep them "nice" for when I need black heels (funerals, job interviews, etc.) -- it's going to be hard not to wear them for fun -- i know everyone is making ridiculous requests for color combos - so here's mine: forest green! with something?! cadmium yellow? grass green? I dunno ?:-) just don't let this style disappear (they're way more stylish than the pearl harts IMO)

Fabulous!
I knew I needed to get a fabulous pair of shoes for a wedding this summer; it was really hard to narrow down which Fluevogs I wanted. After much soul-searching, and trying on numerous styles, I finally decided on the Mollie Johnson in black. I haven't worn heels in almost 15 years, and I was able to wear these for hours on end without any problems. They're ridiculously comfortable, and absolutely gorgeous! These shoes will get you compliments - and threats of shoe-nappings! The perfect choice for my second pair of Vogs. Now, how do I decide on my next pair?

Beautiful shoes
I already own these in the brown/pink combo (which I love) but I couldn't resist getting them in black as well.The brown/pink shoes are more casual looking whereas the black/gray are more elegant. Definitely my favorite style in Fluevog and I'm so glad to own both colors. As for sizing, I suggest getting regular fluevog size or a half size smaller (for me they fit equally well) The black come with black laces as pictured and bonus light blue laces. Brown shoes come with brown laces and bonus dark purple laces. Pictures don't do these shoes justice. Extremely comfortable too!

My Daning Shoes
I use my Mollie Johnson exclusively for ballroom dancing. The sole is perfect, they are stable on my feet, elegant and unique. My feet love them. I am tempted to buy a second pair for day-to-day. I have a discontinued Bellevue (pink and brown) that I love and still wear all the time. You won't find a more comfortable or sexy shoe on the market. And if you are stepping onto the floor for a dramatic tango - this is the shoe for you!

You can go to any fabric store and buy ribbons/leather string/ beads/ etc in a multitude of colors and patterns and use them as ties!! Instant fix! and probably cheap depending on where you go!

sizing not what I expected
These shoes are beautiful (I got the brown & pink, but the colors are more engaging in person than they are on the web page).
I ordered these in a 9.5 from Amazon (mistake, I know) because I have a 9.5 in Pilgrims and a 9 in Mini ZaZas.
Alas, they didn't come close to fitting. They were very narrow across the ball of my foot and even then, they were just too short in length.
It was a sad day for me. :(

A-mazing
I didn't think I could possibly find a 'fancy' heel even more ridiculously comfortable than my Rubens, but I was wrong. I wore these for hours the first time, walking all over the place, and the felt like slippers. Incredibly gorgeous slippers! Thanks also to Shawn at the Melrose store for going back and searching again for the black and gray ones in my size! :-D

I bought the Mollie Johnson in Black and Grey. They came with baby blue ties, as well as the black. I love them so much, first because how they look on, and second because of their pure comfort! I only wish they would make more colors of the ties available for purchase to change them up, and to add more color to my outfits. I have worn them with jeans, skirts and dresses and they always look awesome! I get compliments every time I wear them!

Ridiculously beautiful
I've had my eyes on these shoes for ages and finally bought them, worried that they would run out of my size. I ended up getting the brown/pink combination from amazon because my size wasn't available at Fluevog. They are my new favorite pair of shoes. The shoes are simultaneously beautiful, elegant and unique. I agree with previous reviewers--the brown is true brown, not rust colored as in the pictures and the pink is definitely a pale purple. I talked to the wonderful people at Fluevog who told me to go down half a size which I did and they fit perfectly. I'll probably buy another pair in a different color from Fluevog. (Warning about buying from Amazon, the shoes looked slightly worn out, not perfect like when they arrive from Fluevog. Still I love the color, so I'll hold on to them, but I'll continue to buy from Fluevog from now on).

Wonder shoes!
2 weeks ago, I was last-minute invited to an event that merited dressing up. I determined that what was lacking in my wardrobe was a pair of *comfortable* dressy black pumps. This was on a Tuesday, and the event was the next day. So I immediately headed downtown. As always, I stopped at Nordstrom Rack first, and as usual, for a person-spoiled-forever-by-Fluevog, found that everything that fit was either not comfortable or didn't look right. So, across the street to the Fluevog store. I'd been eyeing the black Molly Johnsons on the web site for a while, so went straight to them. They fit like a dream. And, even though I don't normally wear heels this high (ever), the very next day I was able to walk half a mile in them with relative ease. Plus they look fabulous. As with all my Vogs, I got a ton of compliments. So far, they're the only pair of Fluevogs I've bought at full price, and I don't regret a single penny.

Classy 1930s shoes
I just went to see The King's Speech, which is set in the 1930s and features King George VI and his wife Elizabeth (played by Helena Bonham Carter). It's a marvelous film, but I kept getting distracted Elizabeth's feet! She wears shoes very similar to the Mollie Johnsons, which I have been ogling for some time. So I finally went out and got them. They are beautiful, elegant, comfortable, and basically all things wonderful. I had to get the black/gray ones, because that is the only colour combination that comes in a size 5 1/2, but that's probably not a bad thing because otherwise I would have had a tough time deciding between the black/gray and the brown/pink.

Best Decision Ever
I love shoes. I knew that when choosing shoes for my wedding, I had to have the perfect pair. I searched up and down to find something that would match my black lace over gray wedding gown and was brought to this site. Of course I couldn't buy just one pair, so I bought two! I chose the Mollie Johnson's for my wedding. I absolutely loved them! The customer service was great and I played in them every night up until my big day. The only change I made to them was putting deep turquoise ribbon laces as my "something blue". I wish I could post a picture to show you all how awesome these shoes went with my gown. I will definitely be buying two pairs of shoes from this site every year! :-D

Thanks to their superb engineering, these heels feel as comfortable as sneakers... and I'm not a high-heel girl.
Thanks to them springing from the fertile mind of John Fluevog, they're super cute... I get admiring comments all day from friends and strangers alike! Adorable with jeans, and dressy for formal: they're really the perfect little shoe.
I'm usually an ideal 7.5, but these run a little big: on me a size 7 fits just right in this style.

Barefoot? With Socks?
These are my first Fluevogs. I bought them at the new Union Square shop. They are so gorgeous, and I am very happy about the unusual colors! But the first time I wore them I got blisters on the tops of my toes. I always wear my shoes barefoot. Do I have to wear stockings with these? The interior leather seems rougher than that of my other shoes. Any thoughts? Maybe for my next pair I should buy up a half size and wear socks!

The black ones now go down to size 5! I'm so happy! These shoes are VERY flattering. I tried them on months ago but to my disappointment, the smallest size was a 6, which was too big. The 5 1/2 is perfect. Hopefully other women will feel the same way, and you will be inspired to offer small sizes in the brown as well...

Perfect!
So, I went on a bit of a binge the other day - I had always wanted some vogs and my sister raves about all her vogs. Well, when I was in the store I had so much fun trying on the shoes and they all were so beautiful....and fit so well.....needless to say, I now own a few vogs myself. I got these in brown and pink and they are perfect! I wear them to work all the time and get compliments a plenty on these shoes.

I bought them at the New York store. The minute I saw them live I knew I had to have them. The colors are much more interesting than they appear in the site picture, they are rich colors, brown and purple/lilac. They fit like a glove, and I know they are going to impress a lot of people. I am not wearing them until I have a very special ocassion, since I want them to be the center of attention. And the store staff was so nice, I plan to visit every time I go back to New York, even if only to say Hello. But I know I cannot resist buying.

Love at first slip
I thought these shoes were cute when I saw them. It wasn't until I slipped them on that I knew that I had to have them. They are amazingly soft and comfortable but look so GORGEOUS. They are so unusual and I love the colour combination (though I agree with the reviewer who said the pink is more purple). They fit true to size and look great with silky black tights and a short dress.

In LOVE!
I recieved these shoes as a birthday gift and I couldn't be happier. I had been lusting over these shoes(and a few other pairs ;) ) and now I wear them whenever possible. These are super gorgeous and comfy. I have wide feet and these are a bit narrow the first time you wear them, but soon feel perfect!
Regarding the color...the brown is less rust than appears in the photo- it's more medium brown.
And the 'pink' seems purple, not pink at all.
Still beautiful shoes, I just wish that they could get some accurate photos of colors on the site!
