Bring Back BabyCakes
These are my favourite boots. I have 2 pair and I have worn them both out I've worn them so many times. I would buy so many more! They are super comfortable, flattering and beautiful. Please bring them back in new colours next year!!

Babycake Boots
I just purchased the purple and teal Babycake Boots and I love them! I wore them out last night for New Year's Eve and received heaps of positive comments. What a unique accessory! Looking forward to owning more Fluevog's in the future!

Perfect boots
I lusted after these when I visited the Amsterdam shop but restrained myself and bought sensible black Aimees as I needed new work shoes (also wonderful, incidentally). Eventually they went on sale and the price dropped enough that I indulged, and I'm so glad I did! Photos really don't do these beauties justice. Impeccably made (as you'd expect) and a boot shows off the lovely rose print patent leather to much more dramatic effect than a shoe (I also own the Gorgeous, which uses the same combination of leathers). I keep catching strangers doing double-takes at my footwear!
Fit-wise, I was concerned these would be too narrow in the shaft for me (my calves are 14 inches at the relevant point, and I wear an 8.5 - my size in all my Fluevogs so far), but the reviews from other large-calved purchasers gave me hope. The helpful Petrea in the Amsterdam shop measured an actual 8.5 pair in their stock and confirmed they were 13 inches and could be stretched, so I fully expected they'd be too tight and need a trip to the cobbler. However, as other reviews have mentioned they stretch quite well just from wearing - I found them a little tight at first but was able to get them zipped to the top without too much effort, and after a week or so of daily wear they're comfortably moulded to my legs, easy to get on, and can now even fasten them over leggings and skinny jeans. So take heart if you're worried they'll be too tight.
The foot is nice and wide and consistent with the other pair from the Mini family I own - my feet are wide across the front but not in the heel (duck feet!) and this is an excellent shape for me. They were slightly too narrow at first and rubbed a bit, but again the leather has stretched with wear and they're now wonderfully comfortable. I walk 12,000+ steps a day on pavements in these, including many flights of stairs, running for trains, etc., and my feet are still happy at the end of the day (I'm neither an experienced high heel wearer nor a small lady, so this is very impressive).
I fully expect to wear these every day until the weather gets too hot and am now buying clothes on the basis of whether they'll match these boots...

Not like the old Babycake
I was so excited to see these on sale and purchase another pair of Babycakes. I've had my old pair for a decade+, and they are still my go-to shoe when I need both style and comfort. The first thing I noticed about this pair is the poor craftsmanship. They are poorly pieced together - one toe actually has a fold in the leather toe overlay, and there is excess glue everywhere, including on the rose area of the right one. After putting them on, I could also feel the difference. They are actually bigger and wider than my last pair, although the same size. And the calf area is at least 4 inches wider, making them much too big around the top. They are still cute, but I don't think I'll buy any more new Fluevogs, since this is my third pair in the last 5 years that were highly disappointing. I'll continue to keep my eye on your used shoe section, but only the much older models. Sad to see the brand go from top quality and fit to just another mass produced item.

9 pairs of Babycake boots and I need more please. The best size for me is my regular Fluevog size but I've also done half size smaller and half size larger before. These boots make anything look good.

Wish the zip was hidden or gone.
These are truly beautiful and I'd love a pair. In the interest of a cleaner look, I wish the zip could be a) an invisible zip on the back seam b) hidden under the button placket/flap or c) (admittedly difficult) done away with altogether in favor of working buttons on the boot. In Love!!
I saw the cherry/black pair with pink buttons and could not stop thinking about them. I am so happy I got them, they are amazing!! This is my eight pair of Fluevogs and currently my fave. They are so eye catching with the contrast stitching/buttons and fun colours. My regular size is 10, most of my vogs (including these ones) are an 11.

Big calves, don't despair!
I'm a size 10 in street shoes, and got my usual 'Vog size of 10.5. These fit like a dream! The heels are stable, the toe box is roomy, and the leather is a dreamy soft finish.
I've been lusting after these for several years, and had finally decided to buy them and pay to have a local cobbler put a panel in to give my large calves enough room, due to Fluevogologists telling me these were too delicate to stretch.
Imagine my surprise and delight when, with gentle use of a stretching spray on the inner lining, my lovely Babycakes now zip to the top - no panel needed! It took me four wears of multiple hours, but now they fit like a glove. I am so happy I took the chance on these - I can now wear them everywhere!
(For those blessed with large calves: I have 18" calves - you can do it too, just be super patient!)

These are a piece of art!
I coveted these shoes for 2 years! Just got mine today in the mail (bought them on sale) - these shoes are breathtaking! The fit is so comfortable, it is amazing! I am 91/2 normally, so got size 10 (my usual Fluevog size) and the fit is perfect! I have very slim calves so the shoes are nice and comfy on tom with just a bit of room for a thick sock if needed! Love love these!

FEET SAVERS!
I literally just got my first pair of Fluevogs today. I have been walking around in these boots all day... even in my pjs. When I put them on I actually started crying and here's why. You see, i have Cerebral Palsy on the entire right side of my body and without shoes being specifically, custom-made for my right foot, I am in pain most of the day no matter what shoes I wear.
As soon as I started walking in these fluevogs tears started streaming down my face. They really are the world's most comfortable shoes. Thank you, John Fluevog, for being brilliance personified!

Very cute
I tried these on in the NYC store, ultimately receiving them from another in order to get the cute multi-color version. The opening at the calf was surprisingly tight. I don't usually have trouble fitting into boots in terms of calf width. The salesperson swore that it will loosen up considerably. Here's hoping because I really love this style!

Oh baby!
These have become my favorite (of seven pairs) of Vogs. (Although they are slightly less comfortable than my Hjordis boots, the Hjordis are too delicate to wear frequently due to the delicate patterned suede, esp in the Pacific NW.) I have these lovelies in black. They are comfortable, roomy, durable and badass! They are so stable that the heel is hardly noticeable. There is plenty of room for my calf and there is some foot and ankle support as well. I've had them for awhile and love them so much that I am seeing if I can justify getting them in Cherry & Black too.

A miracle!

Consultants helped me to choose the size, and now I have everything right!
(The first two I bought at random and they were large to me)
Must take half a size larger than the US size.
But sending lost somewhere before the New Year. It took another two weeks and I thought I would never see them again. I asked Santa Claus: Please give me my favorite shoes! And in the morning brought me the parcel: a miracle!

Everyday boots
I LOVE these boots! They were a Christmas present last year (my 3rd pair of minis). They are my everyday go-to boots from early fall to late spring and probably get worn 4 times a week. They are so super comfortable and I can easily get in my average 10K steps in them without any discomfort. I am in between a 10.5 and 11 in all my Vogs, and these ones are a 10.5 and perfect. You don't need a super skinny calf, but they are form fitting on my leg - I wear them both under pants and over leggings or tights comfortably.

Simply love them!
I cannot express how excited I was when I first saw these boots on the internet. I bought them from Amazon in order to save shipping cost. My eyes instantly lighted up when I opened the box and my roommate were so jealous of me! These boots are very uniquely designed and the leather is absolutely fine quality. I cannot wait to wear them on Thanksgiving!

Jaws drop
That's everyone's expression when I wear these babies!! Burned my wallet but totally worth it. I'm normally size 6.5 but I manage to fit wonderfully in a 6. It works perfectly with leggings / stockings - quite a stretch with my skinny jeans, it takes awhile to expand. Great with dresses or tunics. I can just feel the ENVY from everyone who's staring at 'em!

When I first spotted these boots in a magazine I fell immediately in love. I knew I couldn't afford them at the time so I saved for months until I could. I was weary about buying such expensive shoes without trying them on and there wasn't a store in my state. I happened to be visiting a friend in Seattle so I made a special trip to the Fluevog store and they let me try on several pairs of these boots to find the right fit. They explained since they are handmade they can all fit a bit differently. Sure enough, I had to take the left shoe from one set and the right shoe from another to get the perfect fit! And they are so comfortable even for someone who doesn't wear heels.

Beautiful Babycakes
After trying on nearly every boot in the Toronto store I left with a pair of these beauties. I wore them out the same night and they were perfectly comfortable. I don't have the skinniest calves but they did stretch over the legs of my skinny jeans -- I can hardly stay out of them! Love!!!!!

my favorite shoes, ever
i was having an online love affair with these boots for years, when finally i went in the san francisco store to try them on. it was true love! after another year of saving my money (i spent more on these boots than my wedding dress) i came back to the store to purchase. i was told that there was only one size left in the united states in my size, holy crap i freaked! but thank god for portland! my boots came quickly along with a sweet note saying "have fun with your new favorite boots". if i could only tell you the fun i have had! thank you fluevog once again. love love love!

Awesome boots!
I got these in brown with the embossed leather on sale. I was SO STOKED to find them on sale! But the only available size was an 11. I usually wear a 10 reliably in every shoe, so I indicated on my order that I'd like a consultation from the store. My order was sent to a NY store, and next thing I knew, my boots had shipped, no consultation received. I've ordered from Fluevog online many times. My orders have shipped from Seattle or San Francisco in the past. I've received phone consultation, personal notes and candy in the box when I open it, Fluevog stickers and shoe bags, and just generally fabulous customer service. New York, where's the love? The boots are GORGEOUS, but they are roomy. I hope they don't stretch too much! Now, I just have to wait for the temperature to drop below 100 degrees to wear these beauties! Can't wait!

Comfort and awesomeness
The truth is, once I zip these boots on, they are so comfortable that I forget I'm wearing them until someone yells "COOL BOOTS!" I've worn them for 10 hours straight. I've walked 4 miles in them after a date went horribly awry. I love them!

Another dream shoe
As an ardent fan of my pink Lover boots and my black Sugars ,and I had to get these red Babycakes. The Mini shoe family are my most comfortable shoes I own, as I can wear them on vacation and walk for hours without a problem. They fit like a dream in the calf, too! I bought them a size and a half larger to wear them with socks, like my other Minis. Props to the NYC store for the sweet message with my shoes!

I spent Thursday afternoon in the Los Angeles store trying to figure out a way to get these boots to fit me. Sadly, my feet are just too small and the size 6 would not work even with inserts, 2 pairs of socks & much determination. I would love it if you could consider making this line in a size 5 for those of us with smaller feet.

Best Boots EVER
I bought these boots for my wedding. In fact, I designed my dress around these boots. My calves are the tight, wide, athletic type, so the boot shaft needed to be stretched just a bit. BUT the Fluevog store in SoHo did that for me, free of charge! Hello awesome customer service! Anyway, I took these to Rome for my honeymoon and walked for miles every day in these boots. I toured Castel Sant'Angelo in these boots. I walked miles of cobblestoned streets in these boots. I checked out the Vatican Museum & St. Peter's Basilica in these boots! I hopped up and down the Spanish Steps over and over again in these boots! Oh yes I did! We walked everywhere, never taking public transit or cabs. And my feet NEVER complained. They were tired, but happy. Here's a little tid-bit about my stupid feet. I have high arches, wear orthotics, teach Zumba, have a wicked case of plantar fasciitis and these boots are like a dream come true for me. I love them and I will be buying more. I think it's the wide heel and the appropriate amount of fore-foot support the boot offers. Thank you, Fluevog!!!! Love love love!!! @>- :-B

I bought my babycakes a year ago as my reward to me for my new job. I love the look of them and always feel empowered when I wear them. I am not a heels girl though and the 3 inches are just a bit much for me. They are easy to walk in with the rubber soles but the balls of my feet get really sore after about 6 hours. I do love them though! I feel fierce wearing them. They go with everything and they always get noticed.

Oh what PERFECT boots!
Babycakes, you are a dream come true!
The Babycakes (in super hot red) were my first Fluevogs, and I do not think there could have been a better first impression.
I'm anything but traditional, so when I started planning my bridal wardrobe, I saw it as a perfect opportunity to purchase my long-lusted-after Babycakes. Originally, I was going for black, but changed my mind and fell for the detailing on the red pair. We specifically set aside part of our wedding budget for these kick ass boots!
I've got really muscular calves (I run, cross country, too) and was concerned that they wouldn't zip, but they actually fit my calves perfectly, with just enough room for stockings.
The comfort - OH THE COMFORT! I had back surgery about 2 weeks before these arrived at my doorstep, and could actually walk around in them immediately! They are SO comfortable! Dancing, walking, epic shopping trips... these boots are amazingly comfortable for everything.
Babycake gets noticed - that super sexy hourglass heel and gorgeous detailed red leather BEG to get noticed, but look kinda cute under jeans, too. For me, they were bought to be worn underneath a custom made fantasy-style wedding gown from Romantic Threads. The gown was velvet and silk, the boots added my personal "funky style" to our wedding, and look so cute peeking out when dancing. On the weekends, they look amazing with miniskirts, long skirts, dresses.... God, I could wear these shoes everywhere.
Oh sizing - I wear a 10, these are a 10... they fit like a dream. I dunno why people say they run small, because they were perfectly true to size for me.
Now, my only dilemma is which pair to get NEXT!
Oh - and a HUGE shoutout to the kickass customer service I received from the Chicago JF store!

Love these Boots!
These boots were my first Fluevog purchase and I'm very happy. I bought them in brown. I'm a size 8 and found they are true to size. They are so comfortable and so gorgeous! I can't wait to buy another pair :-) Very good quality which seems to be difficult to find these days. :-D

My 3rd pair of Fluevogs, perhaps my fave
I just got these in the mail yesterday. After lusting after these shoes for 3 years, I finally justified buying them for a great reason-my wedding! I wear a 6 1/2 and I got the 7 because there were no more 6 1/2s anywhere in stock--so I figured I'd be swimming in them, but was wrong. They're perfect--which tells me they run small. The calves fit my just fine--I have average shaped calves--neither skinny nor big. I do love these, possibly more than my other 2 Fluevogs.

Dream boots <3 <3

I think I was waiting for these to be invented. I had been fantasizing about them in my idle moments. I think they'd been fantasizing about me, too, because the moment I put them on they said "yes yes yes" with every step. Fit like a dream; didn't have to break them in at all.
They have everything I'd been craving in a boot: low but foxy spool heel, rubber sole, buttons, comfy wide toe, broguing. Perfect for office or for-special. I walk to work in them-- and when I come home after a hard day of work, these are the heels I'm HAPPY to put on for a night out. In San Francisco, we highly prize a 3" heel that you can walk down steep hills in.
(Also: Complete strangers love all over these shoes regularly. The lady in Williams-Sonoma sounded like her mind was blown: "Wow! Those must the coolest boots in the world!")

Libby Boots
I have the Libbys in black white with purple buttons I love these shoes...I am saving to get the babycakes boots...I wear a 5 though so I get gel inserts in a 6 and they work just fine... can't wait to get more of your shoes I find them reasonably priced in the world of designer shoes.... :-B

After an Alteration, Amazing!
People seem to be all over the map on the calf size of these, so here's my $.02: I'm an athletic (powerlifting, roller derby, and running), sturdy girl with pretty big calves. My legs are also really short, which means the boots have to zip over a wider portion of my leg than they would on most people. I'd lusted after these boots for years, and my husband got them for me for Christmas figuring I'd have to have them stretched to make them fit right. I put them on and they had the wonderful fit in the foot that Fluevogs always do, but I could get them zipped maybe halfway up. At the top of the zipper, there was a five-inch gap- stretching wasn't gonna cut it. I took them to a local shoemaker who put triangular leather inserts up the backs of them, making them fit PERFECTLY. The turnaround time was about a week and he charged me a little over thirty dollars for it. Now they're perfect. They're beautiful, make me feel beautiful, and look hot with a pencil skirt. These are my second pair of shoes from the Mini family, and I love that F-Sole more than I love a lot of things. Moral of the story: even if you have giant beastly calves like I do but you really want these boots, go ahead and get them! Just plan on an alteration.

Sheer perfection
The Babycakes in black are my third Fluevog purchase and a welcome addition to my footwear wardrobe. I wear a 9.5 and these boots fit perfectly in that size. The leather is so supple and I love the detailing. I was not able to zip the right boot up fully at first (apparently my right calf is a little beefier than the left) but I wore the boots around the house for an hour and it zipped right up. I'm now convinced I need these in brown -- and maybe red, too.

Feets Don't Fail Me Now
Bought these in black, when they first came out, back in 2006. They've walked hundreds of miles with me across several continents, been re-soled, re-zippered, re-heeled, polished, buffed, waterproofed, gone riding many times on my motorcycle (and no, the heels don't get caught on my footpegs, they're perfect!), sloshed through puddles and mud and been to foncy parties too. They've looked good under boot-cut pants and good over tights and skirts, good with dresses and in the office and at shows and good playing billiards. My only regret is not also purchasing them in the three-tone green :)

A note on calf circumference
On one woman they're like galoshes, on the next they can't be zipped up....oh dear. I received these wonderful boots as a birthday gift last summer, and they have become a wardrobe staple, so I feel that I should say something in their defense. I have pretty average calves -- maybe a touch on the slim side, certainly not matchsticks -- and they fit just right on me. They make my legs look longer and slimmer than they actually are, too. But for those who find them too tight to zip up: from what I understand, they can be stretched A LOT. The leather's really soft.

Fell In Love, then got my heart broken
I love, love these boots. My biggest mistake was not looking at the calf size. I really wish that Fluevog would have different sizes in the calf. Not everyone has skinny, skinny legs. I am an average size person and could not zip up these boots. Was so sad to have to return them.

Skinny Calves Beware!
Like many other boots, these sadly did not fit my skinny calves. They ended up looking like galoshes which did a disservice to both my leg and the boot. Good thing I tried them on before buying! I will just have to admire these gorgeous boots from afar and on others. Too bad for me.

First Pair, definitely not LAST
I have been searching for just the right pair of boots to wear for my wedding and when I stumbled upon these boots I fell in love instantly. I had never owned a pair before and so I went to the San Francisco Union Square store to try them on. I knew as soon as I took on step in them that they were PERFECT. I'm in the love with the Red Babycakes!!
I just received the Red Babycakes & I love love love them! As soon as I saw them I knew I had to buy them right that second. I'm getting married on Halloween and my dress is black & red. These boots go perfectly with my outfit. I ordered my boots from the NYC store & the girl I ordered them from was extremely helpful & beyond nice. I normally wear a size 9 but ordered these in a 10. I have the black babycakes in a 9 1/2 and after trying on the 10, I wish I had ordered the blacks in a 10 as well. You learn from experience. :) The detail on the red babycakes is really great! :-D

Gorgeous AND functional
These fantastic boots have totally lived up to my expectations, which were very high after reading all the glowing customer reviews on this site. Also, I've been walking around in Operettas all year, so the bar for cuteness and comfort was pretty high anyway. I've only had the Babycakes for a week, and despite the fact that it's flip-flop weather, I have not taken them off my feet. They are beautiful, stylish and so comfortable it's hard to believe they have three-inch heels. I walked several kilometers along the seawall yesterday with no problem at all. The f-soles seem really sturdy, too, although I haven't had them long enough to comment on how well they hold up. As to sizing: I found they run true to size, or even a little bigger. They have a nice roomy toe box. I'm normally a six, and I could probably have taken a half size smaller in this boot, except it doesn't exist. The calf sizing is perfect on my smallish legs. The verdict: Babycakes are worth the money. I absolutely recommend them.

I was a little wary spending so much on a pair of shoes that I was having mailordered, but they fit beautifully, and they are honestly the most comfortable shoes, heels or flats, that I have worn in years. I am SO impressed, and so, so, so going to end up with more Fluevogs, now. Just... WOW.

a real class act!
These were my xmas gift to myself this year and wear them all the time! Note: they do relax a half size (or at least they did for my size 9 foot). I suspect it's because of the soft leather type. I must add that I work in a warehouse and have been able to put in a full day @work wearing these on more than one occasion without experiencing discomfort of any kind.

kid leather gloves
You know that Kate Chopin short story where the harried mother goes to buy necessaries for her children...but instead treats herself to a pair of silk stocking and an incredibly soft and supple pair of kid-leather boots (and then has tea and cake by herself at a cafe--f*** the kids--"The Silk Stockings" I think it's called)? These are those boots. The leather is silky and supple. I'm a 10 and at first wondered if I should have a 10 1/2, but the shoes molded to my feet w/o any discomfort, and I went dancing the first time I wore them. RE: Heel. Yes, they are more comfortable than the average heel...very balanced and sturdy. Are they as comfortable as flats? NO. But they are way hotter.

Trust the girls....
Having 'drooled' over these Babies for 3 years on the internet, on a trip to Montreal last summer I finally got the chance to try them on at long, long last. Having British legs (wide calves!) I was very nervous that such a gorgeous boot at a higher than average price Must fit perfectly.. I was elated when I tried them on and true to many posts I had read, the leather stretched and I could zip them all the way. Quite simply the best $500 bucks ever spent and I can tell will last a long time to come. Such Fantastic style, fit and killer but comfortable heels.. even though I live in a hot country and don't get to wear them as often as deserved they will not leave my feet when flip flops are not a practical alternative. ?:-)

i love these boots!! i was so excited when i bought them. they are soo comfortable, i can run in them and i even wore them when i was pregnant! that is, until my ankles swelled up at the very end... unfortunatly i have to get a new pair- had a house fire and lost my beautiful shoes...

oooooooh, babycakes!!!!
I heart these boots. Snatched up in a size 9, they fit perfectly the first two wears and stretched about another quarter to half size. I wasn't expecting that though the nice girls at Fluevog advised it was gonna happen. I work in a warehouse, climbing up ladders and stompin' around with the boys, and find these boots can put in a hard days' work alongside my Bills and Angels. These are the only "heels" I have-and I adore them.

Babycakes, how I love thee...
So, I wanted these boots for almost a year before I bought them. I was concerned that the boots would not accommodate my womanly curves. After reading some of the other reviewers who were able to stretch the boot to fit their calves, I snapped up a pair (I bought a full size larger than normal). When I pulled those beauties out of the box, I was able to get the zip up 3/4 of the way. After about 20 minutes, that zip went all the way up! No need to go and see a cobbler, YAY!! The boot is incredibly comfortable, the leather is so soft and these are worth every single penny! So don't hesitate, just buy! @>-

Worth every penny
I've never spent as much on a single pair of shoes as I spent last weekend on my Babycakes. I knew I wanted them the minute I spotted them on line - but I also knew that, at that price, I'd better try them on first. So I waited for a visit to Seattle and sweet-talked my partner into venturing down to Pine Street. Smart move - I wear size 8 in most shoes, an 8.5 works better for me in these.
I am in love. In 40+ years of wearing (and then pretty much not wearing) heels, I've never met a pair that made me feel so well-balanced and *grounded.* Nothing about them hurts. To the contrary - my footing is better in these than in some flats. To get all that in a package that comes wrapped in beautiful craftsmanship and hot, hot style - I'm dazzled. And every woman in my office has done a "where did you get THOSE???" double-take today.

Great for Dancing!
I bought these Vogs for touring as a bellydancer. These boots have been easy to dance in and are stylish. My only complaint: I feel that the leather is too thin and the soles are too soft. These boots are already wearing out after 5 days of use. There are deep creases in the leather around the ankles. The toes(front of the boots) are caving in! For the price, I'd hoped for more durable, better constructed boots. (:-|

for heaven sake aren't I your babycake?
I am in love. I am a masochist. I bought this shoe a half size to small (11.5) and I knew that because of the soft leather that I could get it a little wet and it would mold to my foot. Let me tell you I rock these shoes comfortably and fashionably all through the dirty LA streets and the tough SF hills. Even though I am 6'4" in these heels, people stop me to talk about my shoes, not how tall I am.

I tried these on a couple of times hoping my calves had shrunk and they could fit, but they never did. I left the store thinking no way they could stretch them that much -- the 2nd time they convinced me to try and oh man, I'm so thankful to the Toronto store that they did. I have a pair of Black ones and a pair of cranberry red and pink special combo colors from Eveline's in Lockport. Solid funky heel and Victorian style make this comfortable boot a conversation piece. Always compliments every where I go. One of my favourite Fluevogs.

My husband bought these for me last Fall when I was looking for the perfect pair of Victorian-esque boots. They are the most comfortable boots I own, as well as having a very stable heel. I receive compliments every time I wear them. Someone even slowed down on a busy street just to lean out the window and tell me how awesome my boots were!

I lost my Fluevog virginity to these boots. And it was everything I thought it would be. And more. Two years and 9 more pairs later, John and I are still going strong. These boots get the most attention. They never fail to elicit an inquiry by men and women alike. It goes without saying they are comfortable. You can dance in these all night, too.

I hemmed over these for months because of the cost, but they are worth every penny... they are so sexy, and comfortable and just plain yummy.I am still playing around with finding the perfect arch support inserts (I have high arches) and wish they were a tiny bit longer in the toe, but other than that, I am extremely please. These shoes are absolutely amazing. I've done walking tours of more than one city in them, and never ended up footsore. I'd rather wear them for a long walk than any pair of flats I've owned. People compliment them all the time, *and* they're holding up brilliantly after more than two years of near-constant wear (which I didn't expect, given how wonderfully soft the leather is). I was also delighted at the calf sizing-- most zip-side boots are way too large for my legs, but these are great.

My sweet babycakes
I only have these boots because my friend bought them for herself, hoping that the 6 would be small enough for her...lucky for me it wasn't, so I bought them from her. I thought I'd wear them occasionally, but in fact I've been wearing them almost nonstop - even in New York City in the winter! The grippy sole makes them feel good on ice and the thickness of the sole makes them super comfortable and quiet. if only they came in size 5, my friend would be happy too.

Classic Stars of The Show!
These boots are true beauties! Extremely comfortable with a classic look that never goes out of style! The soles are built just like my Mini Sugar's (which I've had for years)- overlaid in rubber to make them sturdy, comfy & quiet. These boots are compliment grabbers. I'm in LOVE!!!! Just darling
I love these boots, they are indeed quite comfy. I wear them a lot with costumes and for clubbing, but occasionally I do wear them to work, like right now!) The calf was orginally too narrow (I couldn't even zip them up), but after the gentle reassurances of the fluevog store clerk I had it stretched about 2" and they fit great!
