The original inspiration behind The Scout was from when John found the trusty old Swiss Army knife he had as a young Scout. Reminded of the invaluable lessons he learned from his experiences, John drew up a ladies shoe that included a pop-out screwdriver, nail file, whittling knife, and a corkscrew. After the initial wear test failed with clinking metal bits and knifes flopping around with each step, John went back to the drawing board and struck genius in the new sexy design sans the additional arsenal of cutlery. Featuring thick, soft leathers with pebbled surfaces, a 3.5" curved heel, and a 1.5" hidden platform of recycled cork on tunite soles with rubber grips, the uber-modern Scout provided you with a firm foundation for the challenges ahead. I've been coveting the Scouts since the preview arrived in my Facebook feed. Finally they are at my house, and I was stunned at how comfortable they are. I wear a lot of clogs (holdover from living in Scandinavia!) but never had I had a pair like this! They're like wearing flats, only 3" high. I feel wild and wacky in them. I just hope I don't fall off them in a moment of klutzatude, though! (Wouldn't mind these in blue or green or a floral- hint-hint)

Casual, comfortable, and so stylish
These clogs are fabulous, they fit perfectly, true to size, and are so comfortable and easy to walk in. In fact I could walk all day in these, which is pretty good considering I also get an extra 3 inches of height whilst doing so!

Yellow Orange, hands down!
I obsessed about these shoes forever and I finally took the plunge because there's never anything like a well-designed Fluevog "out there" and I don't ever want to regret not following through with a shoe crush only to have it discontinued. The color, the fit, the profile, everything was perfect. Right after I bought them, I wore them on a trip and I think I just about turned every head along the way. Is it a clog, is it a bootie, (super easy to slip in and out of during a flight and at security - BONUS!) but back home in SF I still get stopped or complimented EVERY SINGLE TIME I wear them out. It gets embarrassing. But I'm also so proud of John's designs. It's a statement color but surprisingly, it more often than not completes an outfit. LOVE 100%.

I tried these on thinking they'd make for a good laugh, but was instead SHOCKED by the fact that they actually look pretty rad!! And incredibly comfy to boot. Or to clog I guess I should say Will there be other colours (black!) or styles in this family?? Can't wait to see what's next ,-)

Pumpkin Flueclog Love
These are soooooo freakin' sweet! The pumpkin orange color is adorable AND they are crazy comfy. At first they felt a little weird under my foot and heel, but after two wears that weird spot went away and they are like slippers!

so fabulous
I was concerned about not having a backstrap but these fit so snugly and don't make my feet grip to keep them on when i walk. So comfy, easy to walk in, surprisingly, look great with cuffed jeans, leggings and skirts and the orange color is perfect. and i feel utterly fabulous in them. The staff at the PDX store were super helpful with regard to fit and color and gave me little insoles to snug them up just right. I went down a whole size from my normal size 9.

Strangely enthralling
At first glance I wasn't convinced - not being a big fan of the clog in the past but these called my name and beckoned my feet. Once on, it was hard to take them off - and not because they fit poorly - but because they are such a dream to walk in. Perfect in every way - totally FUNKOMFORTABLE.

Heaven on earth - um, feet
I didn't think it was possible to have shoes more comfortable than my various Operettas and Togethers. I was wrong. Foot heaven. woohoo!
