Love these! I bought a half size smaller than I normally wear due to availability, but they fit fine. my big toe on my longer foot is right at the edge, but not hanging over. these are totally cute in person, and comfy. the leather is so beautiful in person. They fit my average width/depth size 10 feet great- just tight on a couple of the "straps" but I know that will stretch after I wear them more. If you have pretty thick feet these probably wouldn't work for you, but if not than go for it!

suprisingly great

I really like these! I was reluctant at first because the style seemed so trendy, and I hate looking too trendy, but now that the height of the gladiator-sandal fad has passed I decided to go for it. Without buckles or ties they have a nice minimalist feel that I really appreciate. The textured leather is fantastic and feels very soft and rich. I got them in black and they look great with a just-below-the-knee length straight skirt or wide cropped trousers.

Thanks Fluevog for doing this style right and making a gladiator sandal that transcends the trend.

great sandals, heel caps too soft

I love these sandals. But the soft heel caps wore out very fast, and, unlike the reviewer below, when I called one of the Fluevog stores I was told that I had to pay to get the caps replaced. While I'm happy for the other reviewer, wouldn't it make sense for the company to have a policy about this, rather than leaving it up to each store to decide if and when quick-wearing caps should be replaced at Fluevog's expense? Expensive shoes such as these should not require costly repairs after just a few times hitting the pavement.
