Named after Leon Airport in Mexico, just one of the many airports John crosses off his list as he visits all of his factories, The MXP was a west coast slip-on shoe that resembled your Grandpa's stylish penny loafers. The MXP featured soft, dusty leathers with a hand painted finish and a subtle JF triangle cut out built on a one piece, molded rubber sole for ultimate flexibility and comfort. When you fly Fluevog, you always fly first class.

These shoes are super comfy and have gotten me about 50 compliments within the first 3 weeks of owning them.

One word of warning - the colour runs very easily! I haven't worn them in the rain yet, but I got the leather on the back of the shoe a bit dirty one day and decided to clean it with warm water and a soft sponge - the heel turned from ochre to a pasty yellow! I will avoid rain like the plague in these - it's a wonder they don't treat these somehow to avoid this issue...

I was not looking for a new pair of shoes but these loafers caught my eye as soon as I saw them. These shoes are incredibly comfortable right out of the box. The rubber sole is flip-flop flexible yet thick enough to provide ample cushioning. The classic lines coupled with the tapered toe box and the contrasting green finish and white soles make them interesting without being flashy. I have worn them for several weeks now and it appears as though they will be able to stand up well to regular wear. They fit is true to size.

My first but not likely last Fluevogs.
