Not quite purple
I got these a few months ago in the purple. Although don't let that color description deceive you its more of a deep brown/cordovan color. They ran true to size for me, I normally wear an 8 in non-vogs. They are quite comfy but they are a bit more "traditional" in comparison to other shoes. But still a good solid shoe to have in my wardrobe, as they go with most outfits.

Don't work for a high instep, runs small
I bought these in size 11 online,and was confident they would fit, because I have Operettas in 11(the style looks similar). Sadly, I could barely fit my foot into the shoe. The tip of my big toe just touched the front of the shoe,and top of the shoe was uncomfortably tight across my instep. The metal buckle means that stretching the shoe won't work. Maybe a size 11.5 or 12 would have worked,but neither was available :-(

Purple
Initially I bought the black in a 7.5. They were quite snug and the black looked a little cheap to me. I brought them back to the store and exchanged them for a purple 8 (I wear a 7.5W). The purple is a gorgeous colour and they are extremely comfortable. They aren't very funky though so the price didn't quite justify the look.

My new go-to shoes!
I just got these today, in black. They are the most normal-looking Vogs I own (or have ever seen) but I love them anyway! They are so comfortable, they are going to be my new "shoe I wear when I have to be on my feet for a long time". They seem to be true to size, I bought them in the size i normally wear and they're perfect. They're just the right height for all-day wear and they look great on! Love them!

hope and ye shall receive
These shoes are an absolute dream, in terms of comfort, style, and spirit. The purple is the *exact* right shade to work with both warm and cool undertone outfits. They work with my "professional" clothes but are still fun enough to wear when I toss on jeans and a tank/sweater. I get tons of random compliments, including from me feet who thank me for wearing something comfortable enough (even with the low heel) to run up and down stairs, hallways, and streets all day most days. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!

It's a Bright day!!
Take a walk on the Bright Side!! I needed a solid pair of black casual/dress shoes and took a leap with the sale on the Bright Sides. Although they felt a tad snug out of the box, I wore them around the house and then to work today, and immediately they felt fabulous. The solid heel and sole give great support, I know I can stand, walk, teach, and twirl with total confidence. Although I love my mini's I can't wear them to work, and can't wear them all day - these will be my go-to shoes.

The purple rocks!
The wild Fluevogs are great when you're young, rockin and don't have a real job yet - No one (who matters) minds if you wear brightly colored, wild Fluevogs all the time.
But eventually you grow up and get a real job, and you need a pair of shoes for the office, but you don't want to give up Fluevog quality, comfort and style.
Since I was already almost at this stage when I discovered Fluevogs, I've always had a bit of a conflict with this. Yes, I love the wild shoes, but I need something to wear to work.
My first pair of Fluevog work shoes were the black mary janes with stiching - I think they're called Cathys? And after 5 years of heavy use, they wore out just as I got a great new job.
I got the last pair of black Dreams on sale last summer. That and the cool weather that morning made the day a gift! I also wanted another pair of shoes for the office.
I had my eye on these Bright Sides and tried on the black ones Friday. They are so comfortable! Even more than most Fluevogs! But on me they didn't look quite right.
After trying on a few other styles, I returned to the Bright Sides and tried the purple. They're perfect! Comfortable and stylish with my skirts, the purple color rocks! But not too much for the office!
I'm so happy with my great purple Bright Sides, I know I'll get to wear them for years (that's the main reason I buy Fluevogs) and the style will always rock!I wore them home and they are sooooooooo comfortable!

Ab Fab Shoes
These are the greatest and most comfortable shoes ever. I adore them already. I got the purple ones and it is a subtle, bautiful color. The look is pretty conservative for Fluevogs but the shoes still stand out with their great styling. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 in Vogs but bought these in a 7, and they fit perfectly, kind of like Benatars with the rounded toes. If you are on the fence, I'd suggest you go for it! These are gorgeous and extremely wearable with dresses, jeans, virtually anything.

I LOVE my Hopes!!
After over 9 years, my favorite go-to Vogs (my old Angels) are dying & needed to be retired `:O I was on the hunt for something I could love as much... and I found them!! @>-
I bought these from my friends at the Calgary store while I was down there for a dance workshop. Two days of dancing left my feet feeling beyond tender & achey.
Regardless, my excitement meant I HAD to wear my new beauties to work the next day & I had fully expected to pay for that with a few sore spots since my feet were already abused. I have never been more surprised, 16 hours of walking, working, and standing in these shoes left my feet feeling comfy, happy & better than when the day began. The heels didn't rub, the toes didn't pinch, and the arch support was like a little piece of heaven!!
They fit true to size, and even my wider foot is happy in these. I love the detailing on this shoes, the buckle, the cute heel, even the fact that the toe has a slight raise to it over your big toe which means no more sore toes AND looks super cute!!
These are the type of shoe where I just know I'll be wearing them for years & years happily, and they even took away the sting of having to pack up my first pair of Vogs for retirement @>-
