The original inspiration behind The Tailor came when John had an abstract expressionist moment at the Fluevog Design Studio while wearing a gorgeous new Italian suit, fresh from the tailor. John saw the sample for the new Prepare Spring boots that had recently arrived, and decided the hip new denim colourway needed a bit more colour. Using his acrylic paints he dribbled, spattered, dripped, and flicked drops of paint onto the new sampled Prepare boots. So caught up in the pollockification, he'd forgotten he was still wearing his brand new suit, which was now covered in paint. In honour of his tailor, who was horrified at the news, John named this unique shoework of art - The Tailor.
A sexy ladies boot that featured thick, soft leathers* with pebbled surfaces, large brass eyelets, a 3.5" curved heel, and a 1.5" hidden platform of recycled cork, all on a tunite sole with rubber grips, the uber-modern Tailor provided a firm foundation for the challenges ahead (like remembering to change out of work clothes before attempting experimental painting techniques). Prepare for the Future, choose well today.
