The Fit Expert

Fits Small Fits Large
Narrow Wide

The Gand from our New York store says:

Kirsten is a lovely stiff leather boot, but please order the next size up, they run narrow and small!

Whether you're wrangling cattle, brawling at the saloon, or heading to the office, Fluevogers are always pioneering style. This shorty-cowboy boot was made with Mexican stiff polished leather, black leather lining and was reassuringly Goodyear welted. The leather soles were completed with a heel of stacked painted leather and a rubber lift. Spurs not included.

Quite Pleased

Dianne - Oregon
I typically wear a 10 in street shoes and waffle between a 10 and a 10.5 in Vogs. I got these in an 11, because I have a wide forefoot and was worried they'd be too tight. They have become a "go-to" pair of boots for me. My heel does slide a bit--but not more than it does in a pair of Danskos, and if I wear thick socks, not at all. I find them comfortable for walking around downtown Portland when I am shoe shopping at the Fluevog store or going to concerts. As mentioned, I have a wide forefoot and a narrow heel, with a longer second toe, so these are just fine for me. Give them a try!

Simple & Classic

I bought these boots in both colors, and they're awesome. They're simple if you want a solid black low-cut boot. The pointed toes are perfect and add character.

The fit is spot on (I'm usually a 9.5-10 in Fluevogs, so I got it in size 10), and it doesn't take much effort to break in this boot. I wear nylon socks with these boots, and I've never had a problem or discomfort with them. I suggest that you don't wear these boots with regular thick socks because that won't fit well, and you might end up with some blisters because it's too tight.

As for the front bottom outer soles, you might need to put the rubber bottoms to prevent and/or minimize slippage on carpets and slippery floors (I always get the cobbler to add them to any of my shoes that don't have the rubber on the front bottom soles; they're worth it).

These boots look great under bootcut style jeans, but you can wear skinny jeans, leggings, and/or leg warmers with these boots. They look nice with dresses and skirts too.

Don't miss out on this sale price because it's really worth it.

...not made for walking...

I've had these for a few months and worn them out a few times. The first time I tried to wear them I had to soften them with rubbing alcohol just to get them to go on my feet. One buyer had recommended going a size larger, and that's what I originally ordered (9) but those came off of my feet when I tried to wear them, so I got an 8 (I'm typically 7.5-8). Tonight I wore these to an event that required a lot of walking. I didn't even make it TO the event. Within 5 minutes of walking the skin on the backs of both of my heels was just gone (and, yes, I was wearing socks). I am in such incredible amounts of pain right now. I guess going a size higher and just wearing really thick socks would be an option with these, but definitely do NOT order your regular size and expect to wear them with any degree of comfort.
