The Living Family is a rough and tumbled collection of styles that are for the tough-willed Fluevoger looking for a boot that won’t quit until your feet are ready to. The Mexican-built Anton is strong with custom-developed leather and a Goodyear welted sole. The handsome inside zipper adds a little touch of refinery to the otherwise intentionally distressed looking boot. Living to change the world.

Amazing but not grey

Heidi - Vancouver
Love these boots - super comfortable after just a couple of wears, and they look good with almost everything. The big disappointment was when my long anticipated grey boots arrived and they were VERY beige. That said, I do wear them constantly and clearly have gotten over it. One other thing to note - the soles are very slippery until totally broken in.

Very comfortable, but...

Karen - Oakland
Let me start off by saying I absolutely love these boots. they are extremely comfortable and the zipper is excellent quality. I've walked many a mile in them... but only after having to re-sole the. As you can see from the images, the sole does not cover the entire bottom of the boot and heel, which makes them very slippery and dangerous. After almost falling twice, I took them to a cobbler. Again, great boots - but disappointing sole design.

Anton - finally, a boot for people with slender ankles

These are only the second pair of boots I've ever found that actually fit nicely around my ankles, which are (evidently, according to the proportions most boot makers use) quite slender. Almost all non-lace up boots make me look like I'm flopping around in galoshes. The Anton, however, fits nicely on my ankles, and I can even wear them with skirts. To anyone out there who has similar problems with the huge ankle width of most boots -- get these! I have them in brown, and they are beautiful, but my huge regret is that they were sold out in black when I found them (otherwise I would've bought both). I wear a 38 European or usually 8 American (sometimes 7.5), and I take an 8 in these. A note to the fabulous Mr. Fluevog: Please make more boots for those of us with slender ankles! What would be awesome is if your boots were offered in different ankle circumferences to accommodate more people.
