Gorgeous and so comfy. May be my favorite Fluevog ankle boots so far. I tried them on last summer, and they stuck with me until I ordered them four months later. Like others, my toes really appreciate the wider toe box. The heels are just a bit lower than Operettas, which makes them much better for standing around on tired feet (although there are lots of us out here who'd die for even lower, 2"-inch heels!) I wear a 9.5 in regular shoes, 10.5 in Operettas, and ended up with an 11 in the Venables to get my high arches into the fairly narrow ankle opening. A nice cushy sheepskin insole made them just the right size, with the added benefit of making them even comfier.

These ankle boots are very sharp looking. Sadly, I am having to return them because I normally wear a size 11 shoe, but they run small.
