The 211 Carrall Streets are a bit narrow in toe box and so some customers have had to go up a half size to accommodate for width.

Description
In 1970, John joined forces with fellow Sheppards co-worker Peter Fox to start up their own shoe store in historic Gastown, Vancouver. At first Fox & Fluevog only carried men's shoes, but after a few successful years, the pair opened a second location selling ladies heels and clogs right around the corner at 211 Carrall Street. Continuing the Fluevog heritage by using classic partial blake construction with soles and uppers made from high-grain Italian leathers, the 211 Carrall Street is a sleek and simple formal shoe for the classiest vintage suits.

They looked great but...
Classic/Comfortable "Dressy" shoe
I really like the classic silhouette of the shoe. It is sleek and refined both from the side and front. I like my shoes to run a little wide but these only took less than a week to break in. It will go great with any suit that you decide to pair it with.
That being said it can also be a very classy show piece for casual wear. I was given the turquoise laces to put in. The color combination between the cognac brown and the bright pop of turquoise, that is so apparent around Fluevog, is far from subtle but strangely perfect . I have gotten many enthusiastic compliments while wearing these with both jeans and cords.
The little details are what make something great. The full leather sole with only a rubber cap on the back, the exposed brass rivets in the heel, the craftsmanship, and the ability to wear these with both jeans and slacks, both dressy and funky are what make this a no brainer.
How can you not?
I love these shoes!
