Truth be told, lots of things float John’s boat. Even boats! Inspired by a vintage 1930’s Sea Eagle John’s been restoring in his free time, The Honorius is a grand, lace-up wingtip oxford with a subtle curved toe bump. Blake constructed in Portugal, they are sprung from that odd but always happy place where John’s hobbies and passions collide.

Love them but want my money back
My shoes creased after the first wearing as well. However, I was told when I bought them from the Portland store that there is an 8 month guarantee on new shoes if there is some sort of problem. Is that not correct? I’m taking them back next week, currently out of the country.

HONORIUS (Black/Pink)
This shoe is beautiful but...after spending close to $400 for a pair of 'new' shoes, you will regret it. Even if they drop the price. Especially if you like your shoes to look somewhat in new condition for the first handful of times you wear them.
I LOVE Fluevog and have TONS of their shoes but I would highly suggest you wait until they come up with a better material for this type of shoe.
The crease above the toe area gets REALLY bad after wearing it once - yes, once (I only wore them for 2hrs before this happened). I sent an email to Fluevog just to make them aware and thinking maybe they might do 'something'. I wasn't expecting a full refund but was expecting a caring customer service reply after spending all that money. All I received was a reply basically saying "I have the same shoes and it happened to me. Sorry." Needless to say I was a little disappointed but..lesson learned. I just want to warn others so they are aware as well. :)

Beautiful, but flawed
The black fade shoes are beautiful, however with only a few hours wear, there are significant discolored creases that form where the toes bend. The creases look like the white base of the leather is showing through. It detracts from the overall look and design of the shores.
