Some things never go out of style—like love, kindness, and The Alaa’s outseam design that we couldn’t help but bring back from a previous Fluevog favourite. Named after Libyan-Canadian physician and global advocate for gender rights Alaa Murabit, these Peacemakers are made from tumbled nubuck leathers with a handy inside zip, and share their family’s natural cork footbed with supportive inserts under the ball and heel. They’re like a meditation retreat for your feet—and wherever your daily wanderings take you, the flexible rubber soles will keep your course sure and true.

Best Shoe Ever!!!
My husband bought the black one for me. I was eyeing on the purple one but was a bit hesitant, so ended up buying the black one. It's now like my 2nd skin. 2 years in, I wore it in fall, spring, early summer, late winter, all the time. It's so versatile. I bet my feet never felt that happy ever!

Picked these up as a birthday present to myself, and I’ve gotta say I NEED MORE PEACEMAKERS in my life. Picked up the purple colorway, and they are just as vibrant in person. Super comfortable on the first wear and every one since.
BTW - Yaya in the Dallas store was just lovely!

Wowee Zowie!
These shoes fit my very wide feet that sometimes don't fit into wides. Comfy and quirky. I want to wear them all the time. Gotten several compliments in the first few days. Only downside is just a few drops of water slightly discolors the leather, at least the purple. Very slight, my GF said she couldn't see it. BUY but keep out of the kitchen haha.

Thank you thank you! for designing a vog shaped for healthier feet!! I've been wearing barefoot or natural footbed shoes for the last two years, but I miss my vog lifestyle. When I saw the shape of this shoe I just HAD to try it. Feels amazing and my feet have room to move their newly liberated muscles. Bless you!

Perfection!! Wide Feet? Flat Feet? Assemble!
So I ordered the black after it first only came out up to women's size 11. I'm a 12, sometimes 13 in Vogs if you can get them. Well, I posted a review which was taken down along with a guy who really wanted a pair. This season they came out with sizes up to women's 14. That Vlogness you realize every size needs recognition.
I immediately bought them, they fit like heaven for me. No stretching, no point stretches over toe joints, everything perfect for a 6 hour wear from day one. This is unheard of in my Vog experience.
Must be the flat, wide feet, but I love them so much I'm going to get the purple. I'm really too old for heals and the peacemakers I have (4 so far) all provide me with the earthy sole my feet love and the quirky style that gives me life.

Wanted these ...
I wear an 11 W. I looked at the fit guide and ordered them. I was so excited when they showed up because I loved the look of them. Could not get them on my feet. Even with the zipper, my instep is too high and barely got the first third of my foot in. Sigh; took them back.

Odd fit
After great effort and only with the sheerest stockings was I able to force my feet into these shoes. Once on, my feet were lost in a vast expanse of empty space save for a narrow band of tightness at the arch. Surely this is a manufacturing defect, a mismatch of the arch with the rest of the shoe two sizes larger. However, the sizing may work for someone with duck-shaped feet, i.e. skinny ankles and arches with freakishly wide toes and heels. I was disappointed to have to return these as the stitching detail is gorgeous and, other than the odd fit, exactly what I wanted.

Super comfy, lots of room
These just arrived and they are on the roomy side (I am typically a 9 in Vogs, 8.5 street size) but that is perfect as I wanted to wear thicker socks with them. They are a bit snug to get on, but I have a flatter arch so I can manage. The leather is so soft and the details with the purple sole running up the back and seams on the shoe are even better in person. I think these would have been absolutely perfect in the half size down for me, so they seem to fit a bit bigger than a standard Fluevog.
