An unapologetic nod to John’s highly-revered punk days, The Space Edition Pastrix features a brave collection of metal hardware including spike studs, roller buckles, and chains for a rockstar-style that’s out of this world. The Pastrix boot takes its name from the title of a memoir written by NY Times bestselling author Nadia Bolz-Weber and refers to a term used by some who refuse to recognize female pastors — a nickname given to Nadia early in her career and one that she boldly reclaims in her book. Walk gently + always come back.

Looove
I love the look of these shoes and they insole is very comfortable.. I would definitely size up if I had to re-order these. They fall a little short in the length. I purchased a shoe stretcher so that has helped a little bit and they are a little narrow around the toes. I am a size 9 generally and these fit like a size 8.

Rock. Star.
These are the baddest boots on earth. They make you exude confidence. It does take a bit to get them fastened as you have to fix the laces and buckle the chain. The sole is perfectly squishy and so good to walk on. Unfortunately the toe box is quite small and I had a lot of rub in my normal size 8. Because there are no half sizes I tried a 9 but my foot was swimming in them. I may cave and get an 8 eventually just to see if they will stretch enough to make them comfortable for long periods. Love, love this shoe. I hope we get more space soles and more hardware in the future!

Tragically unwearable
I just received them and tried to put them on. I'm normally a 9 but sized up to a 10 and I could barely get them on. It was so painful on the top of my foot where the crease of the boot is. I'm debating on sizing up AGAIN but I'm not sure these are made for people with arches. Definitely returning ASAP. So sad and disappointing.
