Oh so Pretty & Comfy
These shoes are so pretty, when I first saw them online I immediately added them to my wish list, then over to my “BUY” it list. As luck would have it my Daughter Diane told me we could go to the Distillery store & I could try them on, for I was concerned about fit. I always buy a size bigger than my street size & these were no exception, they fit perfectly & are just so cute on. The side strap doesn’t protrude from the sides like I wondered if they would do & the elastic holds your foot nice & snug. Some of their elastic straps I have to make the elastic under the strap tighter for they will slide off of my heel, but not these. With a perfect dressy heel & height, the two toned colours they are so pretty, all around they are super comfy & beautiful to look at. I receive many compliments when I wear them.

Like drinking hot chocolate at the perfect temperature.
I have been eyeing these forever and finally took the plunge when they went on sale. I lost on chicken sale but still got a very good price.
Firstly, if you don't know, the Sole Talk family has to be the most comfortable line that JF creates IMO. I cannot wear heels easily but these hit the sweet spot.
Comfort: More than enough cushion inside with the comfy padding and minimal arch support. Bouncy rubber type soles which absorb impact. You literally could run in these if you wanted. There is a strap to ensure that you don't step out of them by accident while running (JK). But seriously, the strap is there and has a nice elastic attachment for those with high arches so it doesn't cut into the foot.
Style: The pink patent with gentle metallic pearlescent hues are absolutely gorgeous. The cross strap is functional and gorgeously detailed. The buttons are super sweet. The darker coloring is a milk chocolate type brown which softens the look and the soles are a similar brown colour. There is sweet little detailing along the seams and the contrasting pink thread on the brown is quite lovely. Everytime I weary this I get some sort of mention of Wizard of Oz from people (even though they are pink vice red).

Even Prettier in Person
New to Fluevog, just started buying them in December 2024. So far, I have ordered all online, as I’m far away from an actual shop. Normally wear a size 8, but went for the 8.5 in these. So glad I did, they fit lovely, and no pinching. I will not have to break this pair in. They are comfortable from the start. Went with the pink and brown pair, and the colors and shine are gorgeous. Thank you for a fantastic pair of heels ✨

Thank you to all the reviewers because you were all bang on the money and thanks to the lovely staff, in Sydney (hi), for your sizing help and Yvonne in Melbourne for shipping them. I got these in 10.5 and I'm a 10.5. They look narrow but are fine for wide feet. My feet feel secure but not tight. Don't have buyers regret when they sell out, call your fave store. I may need Dorothea's friend, Leonora.

These work for wide feet with high instep.
Wide Fred Flintstone feet. Short toes, pretty much all one length. These are shockingly comfortable. I have them in the pink and the leather is soft. The strap does not cut. My toes are not pinched. They are wonderful!

In. LOVE!
I am usually around a size 9-10 depending on the width of the shoe. With the help from the amazing Niamh at the Distillery location in Toronto I tried the Dorothea in sizes 9 and 10. With a small toe-insole the size 10 fit perfectly. Don’t be fooled by the pointed toe- I have fairly broad feet and they are quite comfortable. The amazing flared flap has a generous amount of elastic underneath to allow even the highest instep room to flex when squatting down! I was comfortably able to wear them on concrete floors with a lot od squatting for about 3.5 hours the first time I took them to work, took an hour break in a pair of flats, then finished my shift in my gorgeous new Dorotheas.
They are head turners, you will get questions, you will delight in answering them, and you will love them with any outfit. I’m lookin at you, skinny jeans… and I never look at skinny jeans!

Oh so comfortable!
These fit like a glove! I wear 8.5-9s, but in this family 8.5 is perfect. I would say I have average width feet, as they are not too tight, and not at all loose.
They are super stunning and this metallic is divine. I will wear them with jeans, as well as with summer dresses, or formal attire! Somehow they are perfect!
