Great Boots
I bought the Chime in a size 10. I tend to go a size up in boots so I can wear thicker socks, but I suspect I could’ve stayed true to size for these. I wanted to put out a review as there’s very little info on this pair. I am a size 9 Wide street with high insteps and short toes. My calves are also large. Upon unzipping these, it was very easy to slide my foot in and zip them all the way to the top without them being tight. They won’t need any stretching and are very comfortable. The roads were recently slick, and I had good traction in this pair. The leather is soft, and I would suspect can be stretched to mould to your calves. I had a pair of Shannon’s that were similar, but I had to stretch those ones out to get them to zip up so I know these have a more generous circumference. They are quite comfortable on the calves also, and didn’t dig in. Plenty of room in the toes, just an overall excellent boot that appears to be good quality. They’ve just gone on sale for an additional hundred dollars off so I’ve gone ahead to purchase the brown pair too. I gave this set a thumbs up and recommended buy.

Perfect basic
I LOVE these boots. When I first saw them on the site I thought, "this is surely one of those super cute styles that runs a size or 2 small so I can't wear them," but they don't! True 12s rejoice! These are true to size, at least for size 12. I wore them in the rain yesterday and they were perfect.

Quietly Fabulous!
I am inexplicably obsessed with these boots- I typically gravitate toward bright colors and higher heels, but for some reason, I just love these! I bought the black thinking they would be perfect travel boots- I love the mid-height that works with pants or skirts/dresses, and the sole made for walking. BUT- I really really REALLY dislike the whole size only sizing! I sized up in the black, at full price. I have worn them several times and they are just too big. Have tried all the usual things with insoles and socks and whatever- not working. Because this style has no way to adjust- no laces or buckles- AND the insoles are not removable (why???), the fit is really important, and it is difficult to tinker with. I ended up then buying the brown and sizing down. They are very snug in the instep (I have short toes, wide duck feet, and high insteps. The shape of the toebox looks like it would be perfect for me feet (and it probably would, if I could get my actual half size). I am taking a leap of faith based on the shoe shape and the quality of the leather that I will be able to stretch these enough to wear them comfortably. So much so that I ordered the black again, on sale this time, in the smaller size. These are really BEAUTIFUL and quietly fabulous boots- everyone has their own fit issues and maybe these will work for you- definitely worth a try!!! Hope this helps and good luck!

Ready for everything now!
I have only worn these in the mirror, I bought them yesterday, after a month in Europe I was focussed on these boots only! I like the thick soul that will get me through a good part of the winter. I was surprised by the squarish toe which I really like! Easy to put on, easy easy to walk in and they have the upper shape like the old Shannon boots which I also adored! I don’t feel like there’s a situation that these would not be stellar iin! True to street size!
