Amazing! The softest leather.
These are incredible! I was hesitant to get these because aside from the laces they’re so similar to my Aspacia (Esoteric Temptations) boots. The heel is more manageable though and they fit perfectly, cinched at the ankle and hug my calves. The leather is soft & luxurious! Just amazing. This should be a Fluevog classic and I want more! This beautiful leather in red, green, blue and more. I envision a world of Chaminade jewel tone boots! Please make more!

Gorgeous Boots!
Just received these beautiful boots from the Edmonton store. Staff suggested I order my usual street size 81/2 and the fit is perfection!! Buttery soft leather and comfortable out of the box. i have several pairs of shoes in this family, and they are all the same size except that I went up to a 9 in the Chaminade patent flower boot because of the stiffer patent.

Victorian Gothic Swordfish!!
I have been hoping and praying that the Chaminade would be released in a solid black version and the moment I saw these I knew I had to have them. The leather is the softest leather I have ever felt. I wore them all day for the first time and it was like wearing slippers. I took my usual Vog size 8 even though I usually size up half a size for swordfish, but it was the right choice. I have narrow feet and muscular calves and had zero issues getting these laced. The bonus is once you’ve figured out the lacing, the handy side zip makes putting the boots on a breeze. I’m honestly considering getting a backup pair because I want to wear these boots forever. Don’t hesitate on these - you will miss out and have regrets.

Gorgeous!
I bought these in the floral print and they’re spectacular! As far as fit goes: I bought my street size (8) and find them to be the correct fit, but narrow/shallow in the toe box. (With medium thickness socks on.) They have extra wide tongues so should accommodate a variety of legs. Pics dont do them justice. The lower boot is patent leather, and uppers are a mix of flat leather and floral suede.

Chaminade boots
Purchased these beauties in a size 9, which is my true size and I am a double narrow foot, and when I first put them on, they were extremely tight in the toe box but luckily, they have laces in the front and once I adjusted them looser, they’re just snug now Absolutely more stunning than ever in person. The gray is much more gunmetal than in the pictures so much more subtle and beautiful. John Fluevog has outdone himself once again. The customer service is always as usual stellar. They make you feel like part of the family. I would recommend ordering them true to size and being very cautious if you have a wider foot.

Don't debate - buy these now!
Pictures don't do justice to the beauty of these boots. They are beautiful in person and heavenly on your feet. The gunmetal gray is darker than it looks in the pictures. THese can easily be worn in place of an all black boot, or used an excuse to buy a pair of boots that isn't black if you need to play it that way to justify the purchase.
