The Twee takes everything you’d want from a clog — a vintage look and feel with a chunky sole and heel — and wraps it up beautifully in a lace-up ankle boot that’s reminiscent of one of our most popular pieces from the East End family. This bold Vogclog features large metal eyelets, wide flat laces, and a scalloped leather edge on a wooden platform, creating a distinctly delightful design you’ll never get enough of.

LOVE TWEE !!!
This shoe! She reminds me of a mother goose book of the old lady who lived in the shoe I read as a child. Extremely comfortable and long-wearable. Be prepared to be stopped on the street constantly though they are showstoppers. I did get them when they first came out and the heel separated and the Boston store was great about getting them repaired. When the first repair didn’t satisfy me they exchanged for a new pair - that had also been fixed. They are glorious. Worth the wait. And a beloved addition to my addiction I mean collection.

So comfy and so cool
I got these after they re-released. I absolutely love them. I am a big girl and sometimes I am not able to walk in certain shoes for long amounts of time. These have been danced in, walked all over the place in and have remained comfortable.
They run wide and I have narrow feet but it does not bother me, I went with my street size 8.
If you are ready for compliments and just want an overall great boot, this is it.

Head shoulders, knees and toes.
I guess I need help with remembering where my ankle is and where my heel is. I meant to say in my previous review that the back of my heel is average. I do have ankles on the smaller side. I don't find these boots wide at all. Easy to lace for a more slender leg or not much.

I could sleep in them!
They hit no pressure points and the uplifting bubble toe is a plus in comfort and appearance! They are perfect for me even with thicker socks in my street size. I have average width feet, and average length of toes, and average arch and instep. Ankles are average.

I'm breaking up with John
I'm heartbroken, but this last Fluevog experience will be my last. These boots are defective and the heel separates from the base (it's a known issue -- read the other reviews), rendering the boot useless shortly after use. Mistakes happen to everyone though, right? It's the handling of it that got me. Staff acted like they were doing me a favor by taking the shoes back since it was three weeks, rather than two weeks, after purchase. The return policy is horrendous. There's so many other stores that have a more trusting vibe and show it with generous return policies -- especially on defective items. Note to ALL REVIEWERS: remember to select the star that you want to give it. If you don't select the star level, it will default to 5 stars, even if you're giving a poor review.

Lack of Transparency
I am very disappointed in how Fluevog handled the quality issue of these boots. I purchased them at full price as soon as they came out. While I was delighted with the boots when they arrived, Fluevog swiftly and quietly removed them from the website without explanation, leaving those of us who had already purchased questioning. I found out they had a potential quality issue of the upper separating from the sole due to the sole being wood, inflexible, and that Fluevog was doing additional quality testing. I asked for updates repeatedly, but ultimately sent my new boots back for credit so I would not be stuck with a shoe that separates. Time has gone by and zero updates have been provided by Fluevog. They did not disclose their findings, their original concern, NOTHING to the many customers who had paid almost $500 for these boots with a known defect. Instead, the boots suddenly re-appeared on the website one day with no mention of what had been found and what had been done to remedy the issue. The Twee went from one of my favorite items of the season to something I had zero faith in purchasing. Further, the lack of transparency from Fluevog on a known quality issue has eroded my trust in the company and the brand in general. I have seen more and more quality issues from soles separating, to mismatched colors, color fading, inconsistent fit from the same family and shoe, shoes that destroy your feet with one light wear, etc. It makes me really sad that this once beloved brand is trying to sweep these issues under the rug and doesn't seem to put enough care into preventing these issues from happening in the first place. At this price point I expect more. Do better, Fluevog.

We're sorry that the timing of your purchase was caught in the crosshairs of this unusual situation and that you felt left in the dark. When the defect was detected, we removed the boots from the website to thoroughly investigate the issue. The process to get the boots repaired varied widely between cities/countries, so we did not have a timeline for their return. As always, Fluevog's one-year warranty covers any manufacturing defects, either by free repairs or replacement/reimbursement if a repair is not possible. At Fluevog, we're always experimenting with new materials, shapes, and processes. Sometimes things do not turn out as expected, and we must pivot and respond. We thank you for being a Fluevoger and hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future.
