Cute but not functional

I really wanted to love these shoes, they were super cute when I tried them in store but unfortunately they are very uncomfortable. These give me the most wicked blisters on my heels after wearing them for literally less than 15 minutes. I’ve tried wearing them a few times to break them in and using heel protective pads but nothing stops these from tearing up my feet. The front toe box is fine and actually fits well, but something about the back is not right.

"Fierce" isn't a word I usually associate with ballet flats, but when I slipped on these Hayward vogs, I felt like the ruler of the roost. Although the description says their design is inspired by the Danielson, these shoes are not a "lesser feminized" version. No, these stand on their own. In fact, you'll stand firmly and confidently in these vogs. The women/enbys/men who crown their feet with these are powerful and they know it.

Now for some details: I have narrow feet, long toes, and a narrow heel, so I do need a heel grip. However, the toe box is perfect for my toes, and the adjustable strap across the top allows for even more customization. If you have wide feet, you might want to call your favorite fluevologist to see if sizing up is a good idea. I got my usual size because of my long toes, but if you have narrow feet and short toes, you might find going down a size is a better option.

Pro-tip: I find my success rate for a perfect fit is nearly 100% when I confirm sizing with my favorite fluevologist. I bet you will too, so give them a call.
