  • Runs Very Large

My typical Fluevog size is a 10. My street size is a 9wide. I have wide ball of feet, kinda narrow heels, but I don't have a lot of foot volume. I decided to opt for these in a 9.5 since I have several Superfine are a 9.5. I was swimming in them, but the width was fine. I exchanged them for a 9, and I was still "walking" out of them. Exchanged them for an 8.5 and I still "walk" out of them and they are a bit narrow across the ball of the foot, and they are still a long on me. I can't stuff the toe with toe pads to push my foot back, either, because it will give me toe cramps/foot pain. I can't put insoles in the shoe, either. The heel cup of the shoe is too shallow and "wide"/not tight enough to grip my heel. The elastic on the buckle is too long, so I have to buckle up to the second to tightest hole of the strap, which means the buckle is practically on top of the tongue and it honestly doesn't look good. So, I will have to take them to my cobbler to stretch them out across the ball of the foot, shorten the elastic strap and probably shorten the buckle as well, and see if they can crush the heel cup a little so it actually grips my foot.
