  • Stunning but a touch small

These are absolutely beautiful and once you figure the laces you’re set to just use the zipper. Unfortunately, these fit small. I got my usual size 11 and they were too tight with toe touch. They are narrow so you definitely need to go up a size if you have wider feet. Back they went since no larger sizes left. Hopefully they bring these back and I will size up!

  • Gorgeous! Just stunning.

In real life these are the exact colour of a candy apple! They're stunning. I had a pair of the originals in my normal vog heel size and while they fit, they were a little narrow (I have wide flat feet and short stubby toes) . I was concerned about the patent being tighter so I sized up 1/2 size on these ones. They are slightly roomy and I probably could have done my normal size but I put in a light foam insole and they are beyond perfect! In my opinion they are slightly wider in the toe than the original. I've already worn them out twice and I just got them three days ago! Worth every single penny!

  • Stunners

These are stunning boots. The heel is amazing, especially for a musicians' mom (as they are sculpted after a piano bench leg). Yes, the initial lacing requires a little bit of effort (makes sure to loosen the laces before you think the boot is too small). However, when you get it right you are done and just have to use the zipper going forward. My wife LOVES these beauties and she looks HOT in them :-) !!!

  • Wonderful, but labor-intensive!

I love Fluevog, and out of all of the lines I've bought, I may love the Queen Transcendent most of all. (I have a tendency to get multiples of the ones I love - I've worn through two pairs of Operetta Guilia's, one pair of the Munster's, and am currently on my third pair of Baroque Ruebens', so I just admitted defeat and got a pair of these lovelies in green and in purple each from the get-go.) They actually seem to run true to size for me, they fit like a glove, and despite the complicated-looking heel, I can sprint in these suckers.

    BUT.

When you first get them, just reconcile yourself to spending at least an hour to messing with the somewhat counter-intuitive laces. When I got mine at first, I thought they didn't fit. I had to spend a fairly long time loosening and re-lacing and walking around the house until I got the first pair right, and though the second pair involved less trial-and-error, it was still fairly labor-intensive. Don't get me wrong, they're worth it! But I have the sneaking suspicion more than one person out there may have tried these on and assumed they didn't fit because they don't come off as being nearly as adjustable as they are.

Maybe some internet tutorials on the lacing ...? And some more colors, pretty please? ;)

  • I had doubts, but they're Divine!

I have high arches and thick legs, and I've been in despair over having trouble finding cool/weird little boots such as this. I bought the Attention Jolie boots once a full size over my regular "street" size and couldn't even zip them 1/4" due to my high insteps. Back they went! Other boots (Libby Smith) don't work for me because the lack of adjustability of the calf/shaft. These are PERFECT. The wide tongue makes these work awesomely on my wider legs (and it doesn't look silly), and I have plenty of room in the foot in going just 1/2 size up from my regular shoe size, even with thick tights. They're surprisingly comfortable for the height. The green ones work well (as I thought they would) with black tights - and that POP! of green on the toe gives them just that extra SOMETHING. Like I said, DIVINE. I'm trying to talk myself out of that last pair in purple in my size...The sale is KILLING me this year.

  • Passionate for my new purple Vogs!

I ordered the Queen Transcendent Victoria boots in purple and couldn't wait for them to arrive. I had visited the site daily for two months and, finally, the sale I had been waiting for was announced! I ordered a 1/2 size larger than my usual 9 based on my previous experience with Fluevogs - and the very helpful reviews - and hoped upon hope that they would fit perfectly. And they did!!! I absolutely love them. They fit like a glove - truly - and are so much fun to wear. I can't tell you how happy it makes me to not only wear boots that fit well from day one, but are such a darned inspiration! From the soft and supple leather, to the smashing purple suede... the lovely velvet laces through to the beautifully crafted heal they are simply a joy to behold. I am in love (again) and one happy Fluevoger! Thanks John. xo

  • Is it possible for boots to make you THIS happy?

I received these boots - purple - (within only a few days, I might add) and didn't know what to do when I saw them. First thing, please fit please fit. Going up a half size from my 100% true 7 1/2 was absolutely perfect (3 other pairs of Fluevogs- up a 1/2 size as well). I smiled, laughed, called my son to come and see what Santa was leaving for me under the tree (his reaction was priceless). These are unbelievably gorgeous, crazy, comfortable . . .I don't know what else to say. I was going to answer the question "How likely will you recommend Fluevogs to others" as NEVER because I don't want anyone else to own a pair of these (but I thought that response would be too cheeky, even for a Fluevogian). Gorgeous. I think I am going to have to leave them in a box for a long while and just look at them I am comfortable leaving this crazy review as only someone who owns Fluevogs knows of what In speak.

  • Victoria Victorious!

The color alone is enough to make you kowtow, but the boot design as a whole is exquisite. As a Decorative Arts person, I had to have that amazing Louis XV heel but in a purple boot that screams luxury. The fit was fabulous and when I wear then later this fall you will NOT be able to speak to me!

  • Stunning and Spectacular Victoria!!! The Queen of All Shoes!!

When the first shoe in this family (the Elizabeth) came out, I immediately tried them and there was no way my wide feet were resting in peace in those - I was crest-fallen, really. On a lark, I tried these booties, fairly certain they would never work either. To the great detriment of my wallet and yet to my never-ending delight, I was ecstatic to find that in this version they work perfectly for me!!! They are incredibly comfortable in the widest part of the foot and the heel-height is hardly felt due to the partial platform. But forget about comfort - I got them in purple and I dream of them when they're not ON my feet - honestly - these are the most gorgeous shoes I have ever owned - they are a true work of art!!! Public reaction yet to be experienced as they're brand new, but I have high expectations of these beauties as show-stoppers - went up a full size from my regular (non-Fluevog) 9 to my more common Fluevog size, particularly in boots, of 10 for a comfortable if slightly loose fit.
