From Ideas to Shoes
Where ideas could become actual shoes. Playing (loosely) off of Open Source software, Fluevogers shared their design ideas online — and if John was inspired, he turned them into real footwear. Not only was the style named after you, you got a free pair too. Meet a few of the Fluevogers whose sketches made it off the page and onto the sole.
Marisol first learned about Fluevogs while browsing through knitting/crocheting sock patterns on Ravelry. She could not believe her eyes once she noticed the glorious shoes the knitwear designers used to promote their patterns.
Aiden Shipley is an artist from Calgary, Alberta who never really followed the conventional rules of “colouring inside the lines”. He submitted his sketch to Open Source Footwear with encouragement from a rather special avid Fluevoger in his life.
Vanessa has always loved fashion and design. The inspiration for the “Vanessa” was purely out of necessity.

When she's not designing new Fluevogs she makes lavender cookies, jewelry, fonts and mischief - all at the same time.
