The Emmanuel Foundation is a small, locally-owned orphanage run by a Mexican couple, Lupita and Victor. Their goal is to provide a safe and loving household for abandoned children. Right now, they are housing 10 lovely children between the ages of 2-12 and the Fluevog C-Quest team had the opportunity to spend a day swapping language skills with the young learners! Doing their best to both teach English and learn Spanish, the Fluevogologists bonded quickly with their buddies.
Later, during an arts and crafts activity, the team even figured out a sweet and cheeky way to measure each child’s shoe size. This, they plan to use to help with some surprise gift giving later this week…
