John Fluevog is happy to announce that he recently joined forces with fellow, eclectic and avant-garde shoe designer Jan Jansen for an appropriately unconventional celebration shoe! With John having recently celebrated 50 Years and Dutch designer Jansen celebrating 60 years in shoe business himself, the two took little time bonding over their shared histories and philosophies.
When the opportunity came up to do a collaboration with Jan Jansen, I was thrilled. Over the years I have always admired his work and designs. John explains. Jan has an energy that I am drawn to maybe it s the fact that we share a similar vibe in our designs or that I have some Dutch/German blood in me, who knows. The outcome of our collaboration exceeded my expectations and I believe honours the both of us. I m more than pleased with it!
