Just in time for Canada’s 150th Anniversary, John is adding another Canadian store to his repertoire, this time in the beautiful city of Victoria. Having opened a Fluevog store in The Garden City back in 1972, he is delighted to be returning to the British Columbian capital for another fruitful go-around.
Located at 566 Johnson St in a spacious heritage building, the new store will bring together Fluevog fans both old and new in the heart of downtown Victoria’s historic district. Building upon its vintage setting, the store will feature a carefully curated Flueseum as well as custom brass and wood furnishings by Vancouver-based woodworking specialists, Chapel Arts.
“Truth be told, I never wanted to leave Victoria and we’ve had such a strong community of fans in and around the city ever since we first had a store here. It’s a great feeling to be bringing our unique soles back to this unique city,” John remarks.
