Yes to Yellow!

After buying and loving the solid blue in size 10, one of the best fitting and most comfortable vogs in my collection, I just had to get the black and yellow which by then was only available in smaller sizes or 11, so I took a chance on the 11 and with a medium weight sock, it fits fine. They are eye-catching and cool, yet not as loud as you might think; they also go well with chartreuse and lime which seem to be popular colours just now.

AMAZING IN EVERY WAY

These are the ultimate!! I got the floral ones and they are TO DIE FOR! True to size - I'm usually an 8 and got an 8. I'm not typically a heels person but these are so comfortable for heels and could be worn for dressy occasions or casual. I can't wait to wear them for weddings, art openings, and other fun events!

Next Level Special!

So I picked these out online, and I was really uncertain if these would be a good choice for me since the colors and style of the orange and green "floral" fabric are not my taste at all, nor is the design of the shoe... but something was just telling me I needed to give them a chance. WOW. Much wow. Things I never would have known from the photos: the entire shoe, especially the toe, is much more narrow than I thought it would be from the photos, and it's really nice! Not clunky at all--very elegantly shaped, honestly. The color was the biggest shock! Every spot you see in the floral design that appears pink/magenta/lilac is all sparkling metallic! The magenta/pink on the fabric is a glittering metallic thread that sparkles like a Christmas tree lit up when you pull them out of the box and it is absolutely mesmerizing! The fabric itself is textured, so the flowers are raised and everything is just very 3-demensional with this hypnotizing glittering sparkle effect. AMAZING! The tongue and the tab on the back of the heal are a soft smooth leather with a stark shinny almost silvery lilac metallic color. I thought the tab on the back was white in the photo and the tongue just looks pink or lavender, but METALLIC LILAC!! The inside of the shoe has this on the trim around the edges of the insole and on the edges of the top of the shoe's opening--all sparkling metallic lilac leather, and just so spectacular looking!

As for fit: I have always been a street size 9 and Fluevog 9.5 until recently when I feel like I need a little extra room, so I've been moving into a 9.5 for street sizes and a 10 for Vogs. I originally ordered this in a 9, but after I talked to an expert at the store about how I fit in some other current designs like my perfect fit in anything in the Attic family, or my struggles to fit in the Enneagram family shoes, we decided I should try these in a 10 because I have a long 2nd toe, and very high arches. THE FIT IS PERFECTION! I'm so happy I did not size down--that would have been a mistake, but I suppose if I am considering my "true size" to be the one I fit best in many Vogs, then 10 is "my" size. I'm so used to buying other shoes in a 9 for 30 years, it's just weird to me, but I won't argue with the comfort and the fit!

I can't say enough about how amazing these shoes are. I recently bought 5 pairs of Vogs and this is the only pair I couldn't wait to write a review because they are the only ones that really shocked me when I met them in person--the others look exactly like you would expect based on their photos, but these? Did I mention WOW!!?? The really should upload a video of these like glitter sellers do so everyone can really see why these are more expensive than the average shoe (more expensive than the same shoe in black, even) and it's worth every dang penny, I promise.

Another amazing pair of Fluevogs

Go Groovy is my favorite Fluevog shoe family. I love the fit. I wear a street size 8 and an 8-8.5 in vogs depending on the family. These are a perfect fit in an 8 for me. I love the totally funky look--lots of visual interest without looking too flashy or edgy. Just got the Waymouths in black and they totally rock. I will be able to wear them to the office with my work clothes for a bit of understated...'oh my, that's different', and with jeans for urban funky cool. Thank you John!

Amazing!

I looked at these for awhile and finally bought the last pair in the beautiful blue,size eight! They are so comfortable and the heel is perfect for everyday. The colour is amazing with an outfit in black. Just that extra pop of colour. I like them so much I may have to buy another pair!

Brilliant in Blue

When browsing the Fluevog website, the amazing colours catch my eye as much as the innovative styles, and this shoe in solid blue was no exception. Now I'm considering the neon yellow, partly for the colour and partly because this is perhaps the most comfortable of the dozen pairs of shoes I have in this brand. In most styles I have to go up 1/2 a size, but in this one I got my regular size; it fits perfectly and I feel I could walk miles in it. Love the cute heel!

Customer Service is just THE BEST!

These shoes are spectacuar. Sturdy and light and the blue nubuc is amazing. I picked the wrong size but honestly that just means I get to chat with the amazing staff. Alex in QC is awesome and I plan on heading to Queen W to exchange. Just wanted to post some happy vibes.

My first pair

I read a lot of reviews before I purchased my first pair. I really took a lot of comments with a grain of salt. "No breaking in"? "Perfect fit"? Well,I take my scepticism back, big time! These are THE most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I expected a hardish upper but they are as supple as sneakers. Every aspect of the shoe is perfect from the laces to the soles. I have teenage grandsons who are shoe lovers too and they were super impressed. I believe they will both be getting Fluevogs for Christmas. So happy to have found this wonderful Company!

Obsessed

I have the blue embossed version and am completely obsessed with the fabric - it’s so much more beautiful in person. I was worried these might be a bit chunky for me but they’re surprisingly elegant on. My usual size 7 fitted perfectly (with a little extra room in the toe). These shoes are ridiculously comfy - I could happily walk around in this heel all day and those rubber soles (souls) give you some serious bounce! My new fav Fluevogs (and that’s saying a LOT).

Groovy Indeed

I have a few pairs of non-Fluevog Oxford shoes, and these Waymouths are way more groovy with the unique shape of the funky wooden heel. I got these shoes in my street size 8, and they are one of the two best-fitting Fluevogs (the other is East End Kitchener) I own. I was so excited to snag the last of the neon yellow colorway.

Bubble heels for the win!

These are quintessential John Fluevig - rad heel, beautiful proportions, fit like a glove. I'm a Fluevog 8.5, and as these have no half-sizes, I went down to 8 and they fit perfectly. They're lighter than they look, and the heel actually feels lower than it is. This is a style that's made for black - echoes of British police dramas, sturdy school shoes, nun's shoes ... I absolutely love them!
