FLUEVOG x ANIÁN
John, as you know, has always appreciated folks who do their work in artfully unconventional ways. Our friends at ANIÁN, who make beautiful apparel from recycled natural fibres, are definitely among them. For our second Fluevog x ANIÁN collaboration, we combined soft, durable leathers with sturdy recycled soles and a bright, 80% recycled cotton plaid that brings a dash of colour to these versatile lace-up boots. And as the plaid is cut from larger bolts of fabric, each Doug has its own uniquely patterned upper—just like the people we love, no two are exactly the same. Pair them with our matching Painter's Coat, Bucket Hat or Twill Shirt! Tune in, turn on and Vog out!

As if they were custom-made for my weird feet!
My feet are very long and completely flat. With no weight on them, they're A-width, with 4A-width heels. As soon as I apply any weight on them, they go SPLAT, like wide, duck-feet, so I wear orthopedic shoes and serious custom orthotics, that help...a bit.
I saw these Dougs in my size (Men's 10) on the website, when I was in the Distillery District, so I dropped by to try them. As soon as I put them on, with my orthotics, they fit like they were custom-made for my weird feet. Super-comfy, the perfect width, and very supportive of my hyper-flexible ankles!
Even better, they were $150 off!
Looks like I'll be wearing Fluevogs instead of orthopedic shoes, from now on!

Poorly glued
After only a few days of gentle, indoor wear, half or so of one sole let loose from the shoe. Although I appreciate the independence and adventurous spirit of this sole, describing Radio 2 Doug boots as "rugged and outdoorsy" is a joke.

My first Fluevogs
These are my first pair of Fluevogs and I LOVE them! I normally wear an 8 1/2 or 9 in most brands, and I bought these in 9. They fit kind of narrow, which is a positive for me (it's like my feet are getting hugged all day!). The fabric colors are vibrant and the leather is soft and smooth. Shout out to the super helpful staff at the Chicago store (hey Shannon!) who were knowledgable and patient while i tried on several styles and asked a bazillion questions before opting for this boot. Don't Delay Fluevog Today!

Love These
I liked the other Colab, but this Collection spoke to me! I did these, painters coat and the hat! These are a little more narrow in fit, but true to size. I am normally a 5.5 TTS and these start at 6. All my Angel soles are 6. The leather on the bottom is breaking in nicely with a couple of wears. Size up a half if you have high arch or wider feet. This is a Radio boot! Love!!!! 💜💗💙

Why not vegan?
I love these, I'd love to have a pair of these. Recycled materials, perfect opportunity to make a kick ass vegan version. I miss Vogs so much, but the vegan options just don't cut it. 😕

Understated Stunners!
Pleasantly surprised--and relieved!--that these boots are light and comfortable! The plaid gives it the pop of colour that's just absolutely stunning! My usual size is 8.5 and got the 9.0 which allows my grouchy toes lots of wiggle room. The design is so versatile; I envision myself pairing these with a dress or skirt even! This may yet be my new favourite boots.
