John Fluevog is honoured and delighted to let you know about the world’s first Jimi Hendrix footwear collection. Nestled within his recent crew of decidedly retro rock and roll influenced designs is an exclusive capsule collection of both shoes and accessories inspired by the art, life and music of the legendary Jimi Hendrix.
Drawing from Jimi’s lyrics, legacy and distinct fashion sense, John and the Design Team worked closely with the Hendrix family to pay tribute to the late music icon. The Tudor Jimi is a square-toed ankle boot with braided appliqué while The Stand Up Foxey Lady is a tall platform boot with silk scarf lacing. Both styles will be coming in gold embroidery and custom burnout velvet colourways. Jimi’s own handwriting is immortalized into the burnout velvet used within the collection.

“I feel such a sense of privilege to be connected to such a cultural icon. Jimi’s music and energy at the time really seemed to sum up the sixties and part of the seventies in a way no one else did,” says John “It was such a pleasure to connect and work with Janie Hendrix on this project. I can envision Jimi swinging down the streets of London in this collection looking perfect. There are people who say about the sixties that ‘you had to be there’ — well, I believe these can get you in the right direction.”
