Gracias

I purchased a wine pair and a navy pair years ago. They were very comfortable to walk in. The style was versatile for work, going out with friends, dating and dressing up. Every outfit I paired the shoes with appeared extra special. Glad to see Gracias back in stock.

I have had a pair of Gracias in a wine colour for many years now. They are incredibly comfortable. I work in a gallery & am able to wear & walk in them all day. My biggest wish is for John Fluevog to bring back this in Tan leather. I missed out when it was available & have regretted it ever since.

As fun as the entire FV catalogue is, and always was, my first pair (after 30+ years of interest) are these relatively understated black Gracias. The heel is stable, and the form well-balanced, unlike some kitten heels which are pretty but precarious to walk in, without leaning one's weight forward). The shape echoes the curve of the ankle and calf, so they are not tall, they give a lifted look without sacrificing any comfort. These are in many senses distinctly elevated, visibly of superb quality, and will match everything they should. The unboxing experience was also beautifully done and the shipping service from the Netherlands took only 2 days within Europe, despite the Christmas rush. Thank you for putting so much thought into what you do (designer, and staff).

I have had these for quite some time. They, along with all my different ''hopefuls'' are my work horses. I would love to see these in other colours and have the hopefuls reintroduced especially in red .

I have had the black pair for some time and every time I wear them I think - "Why don't I have more of this family?". Very comfortable for my wide foot, walking, working, looking sexy. More Please!

They are true to size and the most comfortable shoe ever! I can't even feel the heel because of the rubber end. I spend the entire day standing in them with no issue. I just wish there were more colours!!! red, purple, blue.....

These are my go to work shoes. So comfortable, classy and stylish. Probably my favourite pair of fluevogs ever and I do have a bit of a collection. Unlike other vogs I have, these wear very well, no premature wear of the leather. Because I wear these so often, I’ve had my heals refurbished once, but everything else is holding up well. I also, would live to see the red ones come back or some other colours. I’d totally buy another pair.

Just got these today. they are so cute, a little funky & very comfy. the fit is perfect. we NEED more colors please! lots more colors. 5 stars doesn’t seem like enough.

Read the other reviews wrt comfort (a real issue for us over-40s shoe aficionados!). I'd love to try these out, but I don't need another pair of black shoes. The cherry red looks fabulous in the photos. Bring it back, please. Or maybe a deep blue-green? Or royal purple?

I also love, love, love these shoes. My daughter introduced me to Fluevog's and these were my first pair. I have them both in black and cherry. Did I say I love them? More colors please! I swear, I would buy them in every color! So comfortable, practical...yet good lookin' and funky enough to garner attention! Fabulous John Fluevog!!!

This is a fabulous shoe. I have wide feet and wear a size 11. They start out quite snug if you have a wide foot but just keep walking around in them and they will stretch and adapt to your foot. I will wear them everyday. Now I want the black ones.

Waited for these beauties for over a week and when I received them it looked like one of the shoes had been the floor model. So when worn together, one looked new and one looked used. SO disappointed! Love this brand but I expect more. :(

I have had the black for a few years and many positive comments. Ordered cherry today! Need more colours!

These are my favourite of all Fluevogs! I've worn mine in Canada, Spain, Netherlands. I have the cherry, the black, but am begging you John Fluevog, pretty please with sugar and candy sprinkles on top, please make in royal blue? In teal? In cobalt? In the blue of twighlight? Even just once in a blue moon?

I am begging for these in more colors, please please please. I have the cherry and the black and I must have bright colors, must.

Love these shoes! So comfy on my wonky feet. Bought the black, and will probably add the red to my Fluevog stable before too long. Big shout-out to Isfan in the Montreal St Denis store, who so kindly and patiently guided me towards these shoes: Gracias!!

I have had my Gracias in the red colour for at least 5 years. I have to admit, I love them so much, I am not very kind to them. I've worn them in all weather including snow and five years later they are still going strong (with the occasional polish only to spiff them up). Like many other reviewers, I long to see them in more colours than basic black and the red I already have. These are the shoes that made me a Fluevog customer for life! Fit wise I wear either 6.5 or 7. I wear these in a 7 with socks comfortably. Truly, the perfect shoe!! Don't hesitate...just get some!

These are the best shoes I have ever worn. Since baby booties. Zero break-in time. Super comfortable. Light yet sturdy. Please never stop making them. They are brilliant. I was on my way to a sale at another shoe shop when I came to the Calgary store. As an old Fox & Fluevog customer, I HAD to go in. I wore them out of the store, on a walk all over downtown, out to dinner and for a full day of teaching, next day. Not even a whisper of a blister or fatigue on my ancient and rather wide feet. I'd love to see them in taupe or cream for summer. And what about that grey-tinged teal? Or olive? Or . . . (You get the picture.) I see why they're called "Gracias." Thanks so much.

I love, love these shoes! I have walked across Barcelona in them, written my mountain bike across the city in them, worn them to art gallery functions and with my jeans out with the girls on a Friday night. I have the cherry, and I really, really, really want another pair in a blue. Any blue will do. Please John!

I wanted to take the entire store home with me while I was in New Orleans; sadly, I had to settle for just one pair because I was flying home and so the Gracias was it. These are the most comfortable shoes I have had in a long time and they work with everything. I think the fit is very true to size. Can't say enough good things about the staff at the NOLA store and wish I was closer to shop more often!

These shoes are beautiful, but fit small in both length & width. I am a size 11 M, but that size in this Fluevog shoe fits like a 10 N. I have returned the size 11 for an 11.5, & am now returning the 11.5 for a 12. I have been looking for a classic black shoe that is comfortable & looks great with both a dress & pant, and this shoe is it...I am really hoping the size 12 fits for these are lovely shoes.

I don't live near a Fluevog store. It's very sad. I tried these on in black while on vacation but wanted the olive. My online order got routed to Paul at the NY store and he was so awesome -- even put the insoles in for me and punched an extra hole in the strap per my request (based on my experience with the in-store black ones).They arrived today. It was raining and I was so happy to intercept Mr. UPS and grab my new Vogs. They look so amazing and caress my foot. I have a narrow, flat foot (that makes it narrow in width and top-to-bottom) and with a small under-ball-of-foot pad, these will probably work without socks but I imagine I'll typically wear them with some spunky tights. Some might think that "olive = drab" but these, my friend, are luscious. My only sadness is that I will have to wait until next week to wear them!

Just received my Gracias Shoes meticulously packaged and sent from the Distillery in T.O. I am super super happy with them. I'm a Fluevog size 10, have Mollie Johnson and Libby Smith, and these fit perfectly true to size. I have narrow feet and they don't gape or feel sloppy, hug my feet like they were made to measure. Love love love! Thank you!!!!

The Gracias is the best fitting shoe of all the Fluevogs I own (an embarrassingly large number). The Wearever style is a gift from heaven for those of us with long narrow feet. In addition to being incredibly comfortable, this shoe gets endless compliments. John, please..more shoes like the Gracias, Danke and Kittos. These are beautiful, well-fitting, pain-free shoes for my soul. You can have my paychecks--just give me more like these.

These fit absolutely true to size and are stable and comfortable. Comfortable enough to wear around the house as well as out. As Fluevogs go, they are definitely pretty low-key, but that can be a nice contrast to the more out-there ones. I was lucky enough to score a custom colourway - dark purple!

I love my 1st pair of Fluevog....where oh where have you been all my life! And Thank you Jamie (customer service) You were right these shoes are fantastic! I would say if you are thinking of getting a pair of these shoes...Stop Thinking!!! Buy the shoes! Great quality, great customer service....super fast shipping!

This was my first pair of Fluevogs, purchased a few years ago for a trip to Europe. They went with everything and everywhere and I got complimented on them in Vivienne Westwood's boutique and in the Spanish countryside. It's true, the angels wanna wear my red shoes.

My feet are in heaven! Well, break-in purgatory for the first couple of days I reckon, but otherwise the shoes fit and they are comfortable. I am not a heels girl but these very stylish heels are amazing and tolerable and gives me that extra height I need (I'm 5ft 2in). Love love LOVE my first pair of Vogs!

Thanks to Donna Ivimey that I met last summer while taking a ferry to Kingston, Ontario, CA. She was wearing the Gracias in red and I had to stop her and tell her they were the most fantastic shoes, EVER! She introduced me to Fluevogs. Can you believe I had never heard of them before? Donna was so kind and gracious and she even let me try them on. We're the same size. - 8 - and they fit perfectly. I bought them for myself for Christmas and absolutely adore them. I receive compliments every time I wear them. I definitely will buy more Fluevogs in the future.

These might just be the perfect Office Shoe. I've now worn them for two full workdays - the first day was definitely a "break-in" day and I had to take them off for some foot-stretching (I suffer from Morton's neuroma in one foot that makes wearing heels extremely painful. My "good foot" was comfie in the shoes from the first moment). While I wouldn't call them wide-fitting, I have a D-width foot and find them easy to wear. The sturdy rubber soles and solid heel put security in my stride and make me Ninja-slient on smooth floors. No tip-toeing around for THIS Fluevoger! I chose the olive colour and find that it goes with just about anything my closet has to offer.
