Vermeer

It was love at first sight with the burgundy Vermeer. I was jealous as my friend tried them on first while I stared with envy...I knew I had to have them. We didn't fight over them, but I was prepared. ;-) They are so gorgeous and comfortable, I wear them all day, very true to size. I also get compliments by almost everyone who sees them. After waiting a few months for the colder season, I'm now arranging my outfits to wear them more before it warms up. Like a soulmate, I call them my soul shoes.

I've been wanting to buy a pair for over 10yrs. Finally I took a visiting friend who I knew would love them and we both bought a pair, wore them for the rest of the day and night perfectly comfortably. I was going to buy a functional pair of 7th heaven but fell in love with the burgundy Vermeer. Totally opposite but I love them and get compliments everytime I wear them.
I am trying to figure out which ones to buy next.

I can't count how many comments I have gotten wearing these. I wasn't sure about the color, but I took a risk and am thrilled with them! They're comfortable enough to wear out or all day at work, and add a dramatic flair to any outfit.

These were my first Fluevogs! I'd been eying them for months before I finally broke and tried them on. Once they were on my feet, I couldn't possibly have left them in the store. They're unique, timeless, and sexy. Also, the salesmen at the Calgary store was fantastic! My Mom was with me, and she left with a pair as well.

These are my very first Fluvogs! I have purchased before for my daughter and my husband and now me!!! The shopping experience was really terrific and I couldn't have been more pleased. I initially contacted the store by phone, and with expert help, made my choice, then my husband drove to Calgary for the pick up:)))
I opened the box and fell in love with these adorable nostalgic boots :) I purchased them to complete an Edwardian outfit and they were the perfect choice! I danced all night in these....the FIRST time I wore them and was so impressed with the comfort!
:(((( My sad face came when I took them off and the top of my feet and ankles were absolutely black from the dye:( They even soiled the ankle portion of my tights. I have wore them 3 times now and it hasn't gotten better. It takes quite a bit to wash off and is soooo embarassing when you take your shoes off:(

How do you do the magic that you do, Fluevog? You are a wonder to behold, a man among men, a brand for none to rival. Your competitors, or rather those who dare to compare themselves to you should cower in your shadow. I have no words. These boots are.... well... ... (fanning away tears).... in a word? SPECTACULAR!!! I about passed out when I opened the box. I almost had to lay down when I put them on to admire myself in the mirror. I wore them that night to my very own dinner party and every one of my guests complimented me the SECOND they walked in the door. While I momentarily thought I'd be all Downton Abbey with them on, that wasn't the case-- though there's a time and place for that too. I was, however, feeling very fancy in them with a tunic length fitted sweater dress and leggings. They added the right amount of pizazz and spirit to my ensemble. This is only my second pair of Fluevogs. A gal has to start somewhere, right? I'm a Forever Fluevogger! You've won my heart... and my feet. I trust that you'll never break either. xoxo

I have the Baroque Rubens in burgundy, which I love, but they are a tiny bit tight (size 9.5 - I am usually a 9 in non-Fluevogs).
I ordered these boots in 9.5 also, and they fit beautifully, so they seem to be a bit roomier than the Rubens.

I love the grey colour, it is so stunning with the black buckles and leather accents. Very comfortable, unique, amazing shoes. The heel shape is just amazing!!!

These boots are very comfy - I got my regular size, and they are just right. I would like a little more padding in the sole, but that is easily solved with a light insole. The imprinted leather is lovely and I expect to wear them with skirts as well as slacks or skinny slacks (cuz ya gotta show them off) - gotten lots of compliments already. I love Fluevog and the unique styles - especially when they are so comfortable! Very happy!
Oh - and I ordered online, they came from Seattle. The customer service at the Seattle store ROCKS! :-D

I've had serious Fluevy envy of my friend's feet adornment for awhile now, and when the opportunity came up that I could purchase my own, I jumped right on that ship! LOVE LOVE LOVE! I'm not a habitual heel wearer, but these shoes are so comfy I might have to wear them every day. And they look !awesome! to boot (pun intended). :-D

I have never spent this kind of $ on a single pair of shoes before, but when I saw these boots I knew I had, had, had to have them. I just received them an hour ago, and they went right on. I ordered the Burgundy in a size 7 for my 6.5/7 feet. They are the perfect fit for boots! Now I just need them in the grey....

I got these in the burgundy as my Fluevog Day purchase and ended up wearing them out to dinner one night, even though it's really too warm outside for boots right now. They're that gorgeous; I just had to take them out once before putting them away for the summer! The stamped leathers are beautiful, I love the shiny patent heel, and these are as comfortable to wear as my other Fluevogs. C'mon, autumn!

FYI: I have a wide foot and generally take a 7.5 or 8 in Vogs, but was able to get away with a 7 in these.

When I saw these online, I fell in love. I ordered them through the Boston store (they were in NYC) and got them 2 days later. They fit and feel amazing! I wore them to work today for the first time, and I received 3 compliments before I even got inside. AMAZING shoe. Only my second pair, but it will be Fluevogs here on out for this shoe addict! @>-

Had to get these in the grey as soon as I saw them. Thanks to the Calgary store for shipping them to me so quickly.
They are very comfortable - as someone else said the hard heel isn't quite as cushy as some of the other styles but still easy to walk in all day. I think I'll add inserts and then they'll be perfect. And man, are they beautiful; the details on the suede, the cool heel, the buckles...it's all good!

Ho boy, these are fantastic. It's finally cool enough to wear them out and about, and I'm discovering that these are even more awesome than I thought. They do a good job of making me substantially taller without feeling like heels, for one thing. Love the toe cap, and the strip of leather up the back, and all those nifty straps and buckles. I like how the straps show up against the gray suede. They're sort of edgy and classy at the same time. And holy handbags, do they ever look good with skinny jeans!

Fits like a glove, a true 8.

For the first few steps I missed the Fluevog rubber sole that I'm accustomed to in other styles, but quickly "acclimatised". As always in Fluevogs, they are as comfortable as any flat shoe.
Wore them out last night - in slightly shorter trousers than usual, to show them off - and got several compliments! Because it was "our" first outing together I admit to sneaking the odd peek at my boots under the table during conversation (was I rude?). I had planned to get the black but it wasn't available in my size - "settled" for the grey, but now I think the grey would be my first choice - they are utterly elegant!

I bought these beauties in maroon from the new fluevog store in calgary, pair #4 of fluevogs for me! Love, love, love these boots - they are super comfortable, super cute, and super stylish. Super versatile, they go great with jeans, skirts and dresses! I usually fit a size 6.5 or 7, and ended up going with a size 6 in these so they fit a little big.

I begged for this boots for Christmas, and lo and behold, I opened the most beautiful pair of boots on Christmas morning! They were a bit big-I usually wear a 9 so I agonized but decided to exchange them for a 8.5. They now fit perfectly and I can dress them up or down. The best part was the service I received-the staff was absolutely awesome! I can honestly say that was the best customer service ever.:)

The photo does not do justice for these shoes. When I tried them on they fit like a glove. Just like heaven. @>- These are my favourite pair by far, and I have many pairs in that shoe closet of mine

Of all my Flues (high double digits, I admit) these are my favorites. They feel like slippers and look like a steampunk dream. Gorgous details of suede, embossed, and buckles, but not over designed.

Boroque Vermeer is a good name, because these are a masterpiece!

Yikes - I am getting addicted! The Vermeer is my 5th pair of Vogs, and they don't disappoint. Classy, unique, fun, funky, beautiful, comfortable,... Fluevogs are an experience not to be missed! Evidence that fashion and spirituality can co-exist...

These boots are much cooler in person than the picture, because the picture does not showcase the embossed leather. Very comfortable - have worn them twice now - and the first time went walking - and no issues. I vary in Fluevogs between a 9 and a 9.5, and the 9 was perfect and even slightly roomy.

I bought these babies with two gift certificates given to me by friends. Tried on 12 pairs of boots and shoes in the store. I highly recommend the Haight Street store in SF for customer service. Seriously, I would have driven a less patient man mad but I was determined to get the right pair.

These fit like a glove, no breaking in, soft as butter. I did want to buy the babycakes but my calves (16 inches) are just too big even with the let out. These on the other hand were perfect as the were shorter.
I can't wait to buy my second pair of Fluevogs.

I bought these today in celebration of good news and they are SOoooo gorgeous! I did not know till I saw them that the heels are black patent leather. They look great and they feel great! @>-

P-) Thoughts on The Shoes:
These are my first pair of Fluevog Shoes, but they most certainly won't be my last! Before going into a store I perused the website--I thought these were interesting, but I had no idea they would be so lovely--they are 20x better in person. Comfortable in both the heal and the toe, they are a fantastic combination of leather, sued, and they have a patent leather heal (not to mention the eye catching heal shape!). They look great with capris (I was wearing jean ones when I bought mine) and they looked equally as nice with my little black dress when I got them home. They have a hint of a steampunk/goth/Victorian look to them which I adore. I also had someone actually stop to tell me they loved my style today when i was wearing them with my capris. I expect these to be a very versatile shoe.

I was in SF a few weeks ago and spied the Haight St. Store and fell in love! Unfortunately, the store was closed by the time I was in the neighborhood and I was only able to gaze longingly through the window. I did however take down the website so I could peruse the lovely shoes from my own home. And lo and behold--there is a Boston Store! Today was my first day off since my trip and Rachel at the Newbury St store let me try on lovely shoe after lovely shoe. I had such a great in-store experience! The atmosphere and interior-design aesthetic compliments the shoes perfectly; everything from the fantastic location, to spectacular customer service (not just for myself, but they treated everyone while I was there tremendously well). :-D

The perfect black ankle booty. Straps, the pattern, hardware, a crazy heel...What more could you want? The 1st day I wore them was a 12-hr workday. And they were comfy the whole time! I am on my feet ALL day, every day. I have been waiting for these shoes! The Toronto staff showed them to me online right before they came out :) AND saved me & my friend from heatsroke by refilling our waterbottles :) <3

I discovered Fluevog about a month ago, since then I have purchased 2 pairs of boots and 2 pairs of shoes, I guess that makes me an addict X-)

These boots are just so unique and easy on the feet too (only worn them around the house so far, its way too hot for boots here right now).Fluevog heels are like no others, they don't hurt your feet like most others do.. and did I mention the sales staff at the Toronto store are awesome... ,->
