These are tight across the instep. The fit is similar to the Slacker Nap boots, so if you have a high instep these may be challenging to get on. Once you get into the boot though the leather is soft and will stretch over time.

I really wanted to love them…. And I don’t love them.
The heel caps came off on my first wear (both of them) so I had to glue them back on. They haven’t fallen out yet but for a $450 shoe I shouldn’t have to glue the heel caps on on the first day! The silver also rubs to white when scuffed but also when the leather creases so now my once silver boots are slowly turning white in areas where the leather crinkles a lot. This was my first pair of new Fluevogs and I wish it had gone better.

Love them!
I have the Ettas in black. These are the most comfortable boots I own, and I have a bunch of boots. I've not had any issues with them and have been known to wear them almost daily through the winter (Oregon). The heels are not worn, the tabs didn't pull off, they look new after a couple of years.

Perfectly magical!
I bought these on a whim, saw a few pics of the patent yellow first but decided to go for the iridescent pink!! They are magical! Fit just like Huysmans, in my street size as opposed to Fluevog size which is half a size up from street size (good because there are no half sizes!). I can imagine wearing these anywhere and with anything and stopping the show!! The shape from the front looks incredible and sexy with the almond toe shape, and the shiny modern art looking heel makes them funky! Heel is comfier than my Prepares, East Ends or Minis and I can walk naturally in them!

Wanted to love them!
I was really excited about the low and solid heel on these boots, and wanted to add them to my everyday rotation. Unfortunately like others have noted, they’re challenging to put on because of the tightness and shape of the boot. The toe box is also quite small which was a surprise given the overall shape of the shoe.
Furthermore, was disappointed that while pulling them on using the pull tab — the stitching let go and now one of the loops is only half attached.
Still trying to break these in for everyday wear, but not sure if they’ll relax enough in the patent leather for that to be feasible.

Received my Pink ones today. I too found them a little hard to get my feet into but once on, they fit great. The heel is very stable so they are very easy to walk in. The color is beautiful and I cannot wait to wear them out of the house. These are definitely show stoppers!

Noice!
These are the most comfortable shoes I own. The leather is beautiful and the soles give the bootie something wonderfully extra with their grippiness and I'm so glad they are not heavy! They were hard to get on at first but I've gotten better at it! Please bring on more colors...And a beautiful white too please!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE
So I saw this....and then started staking them every single night. I could not believe how GROOVY they are ! So I just did it, and got the yello that just make me SMILE so wide. They feel fantastic, except a little tension right on my upper foot , below the shin.....but all I had to do was ride my bicycle a few times....and BINGO, it fits PERFECTLY. It is now comfortable. ....But JOHN what did you DO ??? YOU got this AMAZING shoe in SILVER ?!?!?!
MAYBE I should not pay rent, and get the Silver TOO ? Cause the Silver is just FAB-Tabulous !!!!

Fabulous boots but heel cap fell off!!
I love these boots and treat them like the precious gems they are- however after only three wears, both heel caps fell off!! I’d wondered what the metallic clicking on the pavement was… anyway, my beautiful (expensive) shoes are now defunct, what do I do?? Thank you, Fluevog!!

In love with the silver, but why oh why did the heel caps fall off???
I have only had these boots for 5 months of which I’ve taken good care of them. They are beautiful, comfortable and get tons of compliments BUT, not one but both heel caps fell off tonight and are now lost 4eva! They are the most expensive shoes I’ve ever bought and now I can’t wear them. I want to buy them in black, but wouldn’t that be foolish of me? Help me Fluevog!

I got these in pink and they are absolutely gorgeous. As others have said, they can be a struggle to get on. One of the loops at the back of the boot ripped in half in my struggle to get them on. I'll keep them because they are so beautiful. But I am sad that one of the loops is torn. For a shoe that is so hard to get on, that loop should be sturdier.

Fragile
Firstly, I love them: the shape, the colour (mine are pink). A challenge for those of us with high insteps to get into but once on, so comfortable, so stylish. But - and this is a big but - the film finishing on the heels soooo fragile, it started to peel on the first wear. It’s not obvious to anyone else but I know and, at this price, you’d expect them to be little more robust.

Disappointed
I wanted to love these shoes so bad.. this was my very first pair of Fluevogs, my coworker told me how amazing fluevogs are.. not even 5 wears and both of the heel souls fell out, and all they could do was a horrible job glueing them back into place… for over 400$ I expected a lot more. And especially for the price I would have thought a replacement pair would have been the solution I guess not. And not to mention the film finishing of the heels started peeling after the 2nd wear.. wth
