As bold as love, The Foxey Lady boot is part of our exclusive collection that celebrates the life, music and legacy of Jimi Hendrix. With help from Jimi’s family, our tribute to his inimitable style includes metallic embroidery and a removable purple paisley scarf you can wear any way you choose. You’ll even find some of Jimi’s own handwriting immortalized in velvet. Love called to all music is magic.

The black/gold Foxey Ladys feature a hand embroidered velvet with naturally occurring textural lines from the process of applying intricate embroidery over a high pile velvet. Extra care and attention should be paid when wearing these shoes to avoid long-term material damage!

Can you include more details about these boots like the diameter of the shaft, how tall the shaft is, how tall the platform is compared to the 4" heel, if they run large or small? Any details would be nice to determine whether to purchase.

John Fluevog Shoes
We have answers! The platform is 1" high, the boot shaft height is 13", and the circumference at the opening is 15". These shaft & circumference measurements were taken from a W9 boot, expect minor variation for different sizes.
Puzzled
Still puzzled as to why with the amount of money we pay for JF shoes, the bottom of the heels still has this super slippery bit on it.

John Fluevog Shoes
The luxurious materials, hand embroidery, and licensing fees all factor into the cost of the Jimi Hendrix collaboration items. Adhesive non-slip grips are inexpensive and an excellent way to add extra grip!
