Smell + Comfort = Love
First pair of Fluevogs came in the mail last week. The first thing I noticed was the yummy smell of high quality leather. The second thing I noticed was the comfort. This is love.

Good Quality Shoes
My first pair of fluevog shoes was when I was 21 years old. I bought a pair back when I was still a student, I fell in love with them that I didn't care how much I had to spend. I wore them everywhere and to different occasions too. Through out the years I bought several more pairs from boots to sandles but my favorite pair (which I still wear to this day)looks like the very day I bought and worn them. I still get compliments for them and I'm 30 years old now. Thank you for making such good, stylish quality shoes.

The Apple of Shoes
My new pair of Fluevogs are coming to me in the mail tomorrow! These are the only shoes I have ever been excited about. I am an Apple user, and I feel the same way about my macs as fluevogs: they change the way people think and act when using them. They are magical!

True Love
I'm sure you get a ton of these types of comments, but I just wanted to say that every time I look at your shoes, it makes me feel so happy. They are so beautiful, and when I wear them, I feel that I am being truthful to who I am.
I have been coming to the Fluevog store on Melrose in Los Angeles once a year. I would eye the shoes with what I can only describe as a muted form of lust. Finally, this year, I bought a pair of Operetta Bartolis in red. I haven't had the chance to wear them very often yet since it's still the summer, but I can't wait for autumn so I can wear them every day and make everyone at school jealous. Yes, I am shallow...in this respect.
Thank you so much for your extensive imagination.

Your shoes are wonderful but....
Dear John,
I love your shoes because they have so much flair and style. Sometimes, I don't even wear them because they are more like art pieces. However, don't let your search for style override the need for function. Two toned insoles, while a very attractive design, have a seam where it cuts the sole of the foot. No one ever sees the insole anyway. Please design so that it's comfortable for a woman who likes to go without socks, hosiery, nor extra insoles.

What IS it about Fluevog shoes?
I mean, I'm a gal, I've always liked cute shoes, but Fluevogs have a magic that I have never before experienced. Up until last Christmas I had never owned any, and had not entered a Fluevog store since probably 1988, since neither of the Vancouver stores is in an area I generally visit. I knew Fluevog existed but it wasn't really on my radar. But then, out with some Christmas money to burn in late December, I saw a collection of Fluevog boots at Gravity Pope that made my heart stop. They were expensive, and I'm a cautious buyer, so I left empty-handed; but that night, and the night after that, I had vivid, recurrent DREAMS about the boots. They were haunting me in my sleep! So I went back and bought two pairs (different styles), and thus began the addiction. I have since visited the Gastown and Granville stores, and acquired three more pairs. I think I'd better stop for now (five pairs in one year? yikes) but thanks to all the helpful and friendly staff at both stores for the excellent service. Also, I was wondering why some of the shoe lines start at a size 6. I read the previous post from a woman whose size 13 feet don't fit into Fluevog shoes, and I understand her chagrin. Sometimes a 6 is OK, but other times I need a 5. None of the Bellevue shoes work for me for this reason, sadly.

Request for new executor
Well its nice that people can show their patriotism by buying some canadian designed 'CBC's, but what about those of us who want executors? Can we not celebrate our pride in Canadians famously convicted of fraud?
Please, please release an Executor Lord Black so that overly clever financiers with a taste for sharp shoes can show our patriotic pride as well.

Death of My Fluevog Addictioin
I guess it's time for me to stop trying to get some fluevogs...apparently mr. Fluevog no longer wants tall people with size 13 such as me to be uber-stylish and awesome looking...I guess it's for the better...because I might get bankrupt if they start coming out with size 13's again...

Love it!!!!
My boyfriend and I stumbled upon a Fluevog store while we were on vacation in Canada.. Little to our knowledge it was the Fluevog Mecca and John himself was there( a bit odd but that's expected ) anyways we ended up buying 5 pairs of shoes and we love every pair... Our trip continued to Seattle which of course we had to visit the Fluevig store and bought one more pair.. Needless to say we are both soo excited about our new find and will make it a point to visit the different stores as we travel .. Thanks Fluevog!!!!!!
